I am from Buffalo NY. I am a University at Buffalo Alumni and currently work in the Business Field. I am military veteran and spent 8 years in the Army National and deployed to Iraq in 2005 with the 42nd Infantry Division. My hobbies consist of fitness which I specialize in weight lifting and running. I have experience with dieting and nutrition as well.

I have been in the workforce for 40 years. Ten of those years were spent in international trade as a freight forwarder. For the past 20 years I have been involved with the real estate industry. As a freight forwarder I handled communications with customers worldwide. I created forms to increase efficiency and wrote detailed job descriptions and instructions for crossover training in my department. My experience in the real estate industry has been focused on multi-family housing. My employer creates software programs that are used by the apartment industry. I have helped develop three different phases of software used by real estate agents to do apartment locating. I have written several training manuals, one video production, and examples used to train the agents. I am the primary instructor in webinars and on-site training classes. During this time I also earned my own real estate license and performed apartment locating for 3 years. I have extensive experience in creating sales and marketing pieces for our products. I have written many newsletter articles and prepared numerous advertising flyers and email campaigns to introduce the release of new features and options. As the manager of my department, I have written job descriptions, conducted interviews, and prepared a competency test used in interviews. I have written the department's training program for new employees. I maintain our client database and am responsible for all client accounting and correspondence. My life experiences include being married and widowed, married and divorced, being the mother of a handicapped child, and a member of a non-denominational Bible church for 50 years. I recently closed my home-based business selling personal safety products over the Internet. My hobbies are reading, handcrafts and computer learning. I am married, 50 years old, have two grown sons, and am involved as a volunteer in my community. I have owned my own businesses in the fields of direct sales, services and food industry. I am an avid learner so I read, research and subscribe to many websites. Primarily, my skills and knowledge is in the areas of genealogy, pets, history, business, hobbies and internet research.

Tony Oldhand is truly an "Oldhand" in many areas. He holds an Associate's Degree in Electronics, and has worked professionally in the industrial robotics sector. He later ventured off into the health and human services sector, working with the developmentally disabled for a number of years. He is currently a late senior at SUNY, majoring in Management, and maintaining a 3.7 GPA. He also has a diverse knowledge base, having restored various antique and classic cars including complete teardowns and rebuilding of engines. He keeps busy by having fine woodworking and metal working as other hobbies.

I was born and raised in Miami Florida, where I sill live today. I am a former graduate of Florida Collage of Natural Health, with a degree in Massage Therapy. I believe that the treatment of alternative medicine & therapy should be explored, long before traditional medicine is used. I have 3 great children, ages 23, 19, & 12 years old, they live in Miami, Florida as well. Although I love writing, I do find it to be frustrating and challenging at times. I have many hobbies, too many to mention, however if I had to narrow it down to just one it would probably be boating. I always feel more energised after a sunny day, out on the boat, with my family. Etheridge, though her profession has been independent from her passion, she has been able to pursue her writing through freelance opportunities. Research is one of her strong points and a favorite pastime, which has in the past greatly diversified the range of topics encompassed in her articles and non-fiction pieces.

Recently semi-retired with over 40 years as a Field Service Engineer. The last 20 years was spent primarily working on MRI and CT equipment with several years repairing slot machines (yes, the kind you put money into). I have had many varied hobbies and interests over the years and plan to contribute some informative articles on various subjects in addition to medical device related subjects.
