I am Rowland Carper from Ohio. I am married for 23 years now, have three boys that I am very proud of and four grand kids that I just adore. I am on disability/retirement from law enforcement since 2003. I had 14 years of service. I love to write. It has always been a passion of mine. I also write as therapy for wounds deep in my heart. I am counting on God our Father and Jesus Christ his son to help heal those wounds and finally come to terms with them. Through my travels of life I am seeking true Christianity. As i am man and will still sin I know that God will forgive me. All I have to do is confess my sin and ask for his forgiveness. I am proud to say that I do not travel alone, as always Jesus Christ is with me in my heart and my wife is with me by by side. This pleases me very much for I know that when we die we be able to spend eternity together in the kingdom of God. As I learn from reading spiritual motivational books, scripture and what is forwarded to us from the preacher at church from God. I find myself getting stronger and stronger to fight off the evil ways of the devil. Material things are nothing. It's the Faith and Love of Jesus Christ and God that sets us free. I have opened my heart and hope that you can to as we travel through these days of our lives to become true Christians. I just recently started reading. I used to hate to read but until I purchased my wife a Nook and downloaded a spiritual motivational book from the library for me on it. I wouldn't touch a book. Now I have my own Nook and I am reading the series "The Left Behind." by Lahaye. I am on the second series and I tell you once you start reading, Christian or not, you can not put it down. I was born on the island of St.Thomas in the U.S VIRGIN ISLANDS, on the 3rd day of January 1973 at 6:10 am, to a 14 year girl who later that same year gave birth again to my first sibling in December of 73.I am the eldest of 15 brothers and sister total.By the time i was 5 my mother had married an immigrant from the island of Antigua, who until introduced her and her now 4 children(none of whom was his own) to a new religion called RASTAFARI.(an strict form of christianity formed on the island of jamaica during the 1930's,denouncing all forms of society i.e; cloths, foods,religious beliefs,music, social medias,(t.v). cooking&eating utensils, medications and a strictly enforced 100% pure vegetarian diet was placed, along with the constant reading and study of the king james bible,along with use of marijuana and worship of HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY HAILE SALASIE I as our GOD who is said to be the reincarnation of christ and the rastafarians acknowledge as the HOLY TRINITY (THE FATHER ,SON,AND HOLY SPIRIT) in human form and saviour of the world. During these days of my life i grew an immense fondness for the reggae music(rasta music) the rastafarians believe to be the only music there god approves of because of it's deep rooted message in its lyrics of(community upliftment,the fight for injustice, and the life of the suffering people of the ghetto's around the world as well as it's always proclamation of AFRICA being a place refuge for the down strouded )i now felt apart of as this very young age. Born and raised in a little country town in East Texas by the name of Winona. The last of ten children born to the last Clyde Jones and Lillian Meadows Jones Hawkins. My childhood was one that any rural poor child could identify with here in America. However, my family had a lot of love and that made up for the things we did not have. I attended Winona Independent School District until the seventh grade when the only home I knew burned down. I went to live with my oldest sister. While living with my sister, I had an experience with my savior Jesus Christ. I was drawn away by the cares of this world and at fifteen I became pregnant. I went to live with my brother and his family in Chicago. In 1989, I moved back to Texas. My boyfriend encouraged me to attend the local adult illiteracy council where I studied for my GED. I graduated in 1990. I married that boyfriend in 1991 and we have been happily married for eighteen years. My husband Carl, took my first born as his own and three more children were born. The GREATEST thing that ever happened to me is that on Easter Sunday 2004 my first love came back into my life, Jesus Christ. He saved me, God forgave me, and filled me up with the precious Holy Spirit. Later, I went back to school at the local junior college and otained a associates in Paralegal. I landed a job at the United States Postal Service and have been there for the past fifteen years. I went back to college and obtained a bachelors in business administration. I aspire to go back in the fall of 2010.

I have been a Christian for some time now and my life's focus revolves around my Christian faith--not by fear or tradition, but by a strong inward conviction of faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ; as given through, His Holy Spirit. I am a simple person, a simple Christian--no Theology degree here--just my passion, thoughts, and convictions towards Biblical understanding and truth. I'm a home stay mom, it's a full time job, all the stress, the pressure, which never end, Preparing breakfast, cleaning the house, washing clothing and Keep the family together. Once a while I loosed my patient. But I'm thankful that God is with me, guiding, so I do my best to talked to Him by reading His word, praying and singing in the holy spirit. I pray for all of my friends and the people who serving God in the Mission field, for protection and meet their needs according to God will and promise. In my relaxing time I read a book about prayer, I love that kind of book, it teach me how to wait on God, and God will answer our prayer in His own time, God will full fill what ever He promise to us. Recently I read a book call "Intercessory prayer'. Other then that, I also used my relaxing time to creating something that I enjoy in the internet world. Creating a cute stuffs, I really enjoy it. It helps me to relax and forget all the stressful life of being a home stay mom.
