Born and raised in Long Island, NY, I have always been somewhat of a beach bum. I enjoy going out with friends, trying new things, traveling to new places, and experiencing life to its fullest! In my spare time I love doing anything and everything creative- from writing poetry, to scrapbooking, to editing home movies. I am currently a freelance web designer and wedding consultant at a bridal salon. I live with my husband and 2 cats. I like music with poetic lyrics and classic rock. I love going to the movies just as much as I love a night out on the town.

Avid film buff and amateur filmmaker I have been watching movies since I was very young. When I was eleven years old I started making small home movies with a VHS camera. Since then my knowledge of films, both technically and storyline wise, has gotten exponentially better

Jill Woodruff Stanton has been teaching children for 14 years. She has a degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University, a Master of Arts in Education from Hamline, and a Literacy Certificate for the Teaching of Reading and Writing from Hamline. She is also a licensed reading teacher. Jill enjoys photography as a hobby, along with scrapbooking and creating photo books. Although she never became an avid fisherman growing up on a large popular Minnesota fishing lake (Leech Lake), she thoroughly enjoys watching from the shore as her son and dad head out for a tournament. Putting together short home movies using video clips and photographs is a great interest for Jill, and she has created videos for family members graduations and weddings, and even for her great grandmother's 100th birthday celebration. Of course, her main focus and interests are in her family: Husband, Jeff, and two sons teenager Ian and preschooler Rowan, and lovable pup Cleo the Goldendoodle. Jill is an avid reader and participates in a book club with friends. She is also very passionate about children's literacy and works hard in her classroom to make sure her students always have reading material at home to enjoy, whether it is checked out from her classroom library, or given to them through grants she writes to get books for them to keep. She is adamant that her own kids' home libraries are always well stocked. Jill considers herself a life long learner. Most recently, she has been learning as much as she can about speech delays and developmental delays to help her youngest son Rowan with some challenges he is facing.

I am trying to make home movies of my children

I have been writing poetry like many people for years as a hobby. I love going to the movies and reading. I have too many books to keep up with so there's still alot of books I have yet to read but I'm looking forward to it.

While mostly appearing to be a homebody, her fiance and her do enjoy movies, dinning out, and vacationing when their schedules allow it. Jennifer is a Jack of all trades and beginning to Master some! She enjoys sharing her life and experience as well as expertise through the written word and has been a freelance writer for almost ten years now.

I have lived in the Ozarks for 20 years, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Afer receiving a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics with a Food and Nutrition Emphasis from College of the Ozarks, I began working for Herschend Family Entertainment as a sales manager and merchandise buyer.
