Hey ! My name is Jazz, and I m born and raised in NYC (amongst other various places) . I am an Aquarius , and I LOVE to write about anything , from fashion to farming . Even though I live in the city, I visit the country frequent , and I have to say its a lot more soothing being in the suburbs (its a huge inspiration for the majority of my best writing )

Anton DeFade grew up in a musical family in Pittsburgh, he would always fiddle around with different instruments and every day objects to make sound. Anton picked up the viola at age 8 and would participate in many different camps. He then picked up the bass at age 12 and started studying under Paul Thompson, his mentor for the next 6 years. While attending CAPA High School Anton worked heavily as a freelance bassist taking advantage of practically every opportunity that came his way. Amongst other achievements, Anton received honorable mention in the 2010 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards for his composition, "Just One of Those Nights." Anton is currently living in New York City, furthering his education at the New School for Jazz & Contemporary Music, studying under Andy Mckee. Jesse Sears is an award-winning writer, photographer and jazz trumpeter. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism Cal State Univ., Northridge and specializes as a writer in technology, the automotive industry and music production.

I live and work in the South Shore area of Massachusetts. My day job is in "severe" special needs. I am priviliged and happy and *very* blessed every day I get to spend with these beautiful and heart-swelling kids. I play the piano, and teach it privately. I love jazz, and have an ecclectic (or obscure!) variety of "geeky" interests including math, psychology, learning theory, and word games. I am a passionate and life-long learner, with a keen (albeit unofficial) interest in constitutional law and citizens' legal powers. I am a staunch defender of civil rights and believe in a legally intelligent and empowered citizenry. I am thrice disabled, these dx's either comorbid with or resulting from hydrocephalus and its surgical treatment. The "trifecta" is Nonverbal Learning Disability, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and clinically significant (talk about understatement!) Anxiety. Yes - capitalized. I also happen to have some pretty strong gifts as well, when I am diligent about the basic health stuff (especially diet, exercise and GETTING ADEQUATE SLEEP!) and when the non-basic stuff is likewise managed well and followed (meds, keeping track of and keeping appointments, and following through with my own health monitoring and care plans). I AM going to master this "life" thing, and ALL of the conflicts (and their participants!) and opportunities it has to offer.

As a boy in the third grade, I acquired a zealous dream for expression and a fascination with words. Expression overlapped into traveling with the United States Navy Band playing jazz guitar to such places as Russia, Scotland, Norway, Portugal and all over the United States
