Marc MorinOver the course of the last few years, Marc came to realize more than ever that he is a true movie enthusiast and has a passion for the cinematic experience. From his earliest memories of seeing Star Wars for the first time at the drive-in theater to Saturday afternoons laying on the living room floor watching old school kung fu flicks on the family television, movies have been a big part of his life and have had a profound effect on how he views the world. With continued advancements in the art and science of cinematic storytelling, the experience of seeing these imaginative tales unfold on screen (IMAX or iPod), continues to be an enriching and engaging experience. Marc's most recent step towards growing his passion for movies was to become a member of the Seattle International Film Festival and is hoping to have an expanding role in that experience as well. Movies will be the main topic of choice for the articles that Marc will put out there, but you will also see him write about a varied range of topics like local interests and events as things catch his attention here in the Seattle area with maybe some sports commentary thrown in as well. Marc hopes you enjoy reading his articles and please feel free to provide any feedback or comments that you like. The more the better!

Stephen WilsonSteve Wilson was born in 1955 in San Fernando, California. From an early age, he had an interest in all things musical. He picked up his grandfather's guitar when he was 13 years old and has not been the same since. He has lived in the South Bay, near Los Angeles, California, for most of his life. Indeed, he is one of those rare and endangered creatures, the native Californian. When he's not playing music, he's writing or practicing kung fu. Yeah, he's a busy guy. Idle hands, you know. They do something. I forget what, but I knew when I started the sentence. They say memory is the first to go. I forget what goes next. Years ago, he started writing little blogs on Reverb about his favorite bible stories, trying to explain why spirituality in general, and Christianity specifically, aren't the irrational ideas commonly portrayed in popular media. All those fundamentalists tend to give Jesus a bad name. It's a shame. Anyway, those blogs became rather popular. So he kept writing them. Every Sunday, he posts a blog with a religious theme. They are still quite popular. He writes about more than religion, though. He write about philosophy, history, music, astronomy, science, politics, linguistics, and just about anything else that pops into his head. In 2009, he wrote his first novel, Natural Selection, a murder mystery. It's available on Amazon.com. He teaches elementary school in the Los Angeles area. He's been teaching now for over 25 years. He has also practiced kung fu for the past 26 years. He plays guitar for his church choir and belongs to a local folk music club.
NotJustMyWorldI have more than 21 years experience in the professional marketing and communications field; for the past 10, I have been passionate about our environment and ecosystems, whole/preventative health, and how to blend the two When I started my marketing business in 2006 (AboutFace Marketing, http://www.aboutfacemarketing.net), I naturally attracted many clients with the same passions as I did '" environmental science; whole and holistic health; eco-friendly, organic, and natural products and services. This has only fueled my fire! I've been working with a client to start a nonprofit, dedicated to educating the general public on how ALL of the dots connect, so people think about it and begin to understand how what they read and see about the environment and health affects them directly. I have attained my 2nd Dan (2nd degree black belt) in Tae Kwon Do, and am currently practicing Wushu Kung Fu and Tai Chi.
