I've been in the ski travel business for 20+ years and know a good deal when I see one. SnowPak.com doesn't sell ski packages. We just find them and share them with skiers and snowboarders. I grew up and live in South Florida. Never skied until I was 19 when I went on a trip to Vail, Colorado. I was totally blown away. It was like nothing I had ever seen or experienced before. From then on I went on ski trips any time I could. Skiing all over the world. I've stayed in all types of lodging at ski resorts from a barn in St. Anton, Austria to 5 star hotels. I began working with ski resorts and travel companies in 1992 when I started SnowPak. In 1996 we registered SnowPak.com and started our web site. I have the perspective of a consumer. Because I am a consumer. I don't work at a ski resort, property, or travel company. I hope I can point you in the right direction so you can have the winter mountain vacation you have always dreamed of.

Fabulous lodging options give you the choice of slope side and nearby hotels or condos. Tie it all together in the fun-loving Village of Ellicottville. Shop, eat, explore or just enjoy the small town hospitality. Snowy Tannenbaum TreesAs we enter our 52nd winter season, Holiday Valley is Western New York's true destination ski and snowboard resort. Fifty-six slopes are spread over four different faces with a 750-foot vertical drop and 13 lifts. We're known for our great variety of terrain, lake effect snowstorms and the fun-loving ski town of Ellicottville (4 blocks full of great restaurants and fun shopping)...plus the hometown friendliness of Western New York. Four terrain parks plus a half pipe, several glades and a wonderful children's program provide fun for skiers and riders of all ages. Guests may stay in the beautiful Inn at Holiday Valley, right at the base of the Sunrise Quad or in one of the many nearby townhouses, condos or lodges on the slopes or in the village. New for the 2009-10 season is the Tamarack Club, a spectacular condo-hotel at the base of Holiday Valley featuring 4-star amenities. Area activities include shopping, dining, tubing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Yodeler Lodge SummerWhen the snow is off the slopes, the newly redesigned 18 hole Double Black Diamond Golf Course provides a stern test of golf as it winds through the woods and around ponds creating a pleasing blend of play. Summer is laid back relaxation where you can sip umbrella drinks by the pool, stroll through the Village, pamper yourself at the spa or get down and dirty on the many mountain bike trails. Each day I am thankful to be at a point in my life where I can travel throughout the U.S. living and breathing all the wonders of this great country. As I wander across America searching for pet friendly lodging I find the humor in my every day experiences, and share many doggie bags along the way with my pooch travel buddies.(Mya the little furry one, and Ruger the lovable pillow stealer. Um, that s LARGE pillow stealer.) Now that I am older and finally realize that I will only live once,-- I hope I am doing it right,-- and I don t want to miss any of it .
