After serving in the US Navy for 2 years, I soon found myself a single mother of a 3 year old and spent the next 15 years dedicated to raising her to be independent, driven, and focused while still retaining that creativity so necessary in today s work force. I ve also had a varied career life. I started in accounting and worked for a small company in the building industry. Then I realized this wasn t giving me the home time needed to raise my daughter. Therefore, I returned to school to become a mathematics teacher, a career that not only affords me the scheduling freedoms I need but also provides me with personal satisfaction and creative latitude as well as a certain degree of autonomy.

"If you want to work, first get off your butt. If you cannot get off your butt, then at least sit in front of a computer or pick up some paper and a pen or pencil." "Do not complain about companies that make a big profit and move plants overseas if you buy any of their products." "One of the biggest problems America faces is the immigrant issue. Regrettably, the country has immigrants that owe their allegiance to Democrat, Republican, Tea Party, Green, Libertarian, Socialist, NAZI, and others. So many are in our country, Americans sometimes cannot vote or run for office until they pledge allegiance to one of those others. If their allegiance is not to America, they need to leave." "When you vote, use your brain, not a line. Line voting is the longest path to your goal." "Do you trust an economist who really thinks consumers will choose 5 lbs. of sugar in a brown bag over 5 lbs. of sugar in a fancy bag and with a name brand?" "The easiest way to get a job in this economy is to make one." "Americans really do manufacture goods still. Unfortunately, Americans rarely buy the goods." "If you think I am wacko, you need to get over it. I did."
