Daniel SwaimI am a freelance writer and copy editor, and I pay the bills by working as a clerk at a law firm. I am a (nearly) lifelong resident of New Mexico, a situation I'd like to change, at least for a while. I am a constant reader, really, I never leave home without a book in tow. My degree is in English with a minor in History, but at times during my undergraduate career I intended to major in Media Arts, or Psychology, or Business, or even Computer Science (the math gods said no to that one). Most people eventually decide on one career over the others, but I haven't. Perhaps that's why I feel drawn to writing; it allows to me to wear any number of career hats without ever actually deciding on one.
