    Miss Sillcocks won the Small Business Administration (SBA) 2009 Home-Based-Business-Champion-of-the-Year Award for the Rio Grande Valley Area. Winifred Sillcocks was born in New York City, grew up in Tucson, AZ, Moved to New Orleans, LA in her senior year, and graduated from All Saints Episcopal School for Girls in 1969. Later she attended Florida State University, went to live in Germany for three years, and returned to NYC in 1975. In New York, she studied ballet, modeled, worked as a photo stylist and make-up artist, and as a personal shopper. She was also a personal trainer, and taught at dance studios and health clubs in Manhattan. She lives in Texas now, and has an online private franchising business and an online marketing and training business. Miss Marshall has had her own businesses most of her life, but found herself in corporate America, as a corporate lead trainer and course writer, where she learned a lot about clear communication in oral and written work.
