  • Brandy Burgess
I'm Brandy and I was born in Pinebluff, Arkansas. I've also lived in Maryland, Virginia, D.C, and Nevada. Currently, I'm preparing to make a big move back to the East Coast to live in Boston, Massachusetts, in August 2012. I've always love reading, and of course writing naturally followed suit. I find that this is best accomplished with a cup of tea. Being entirely deaf in one ear isn't easy, and so what I can't hear in my ears I observe with my eyes. I observe all kinds of things like nature, hair, nightlife, tattoos, how clean your bathroom is (or isn't), gas prices, and seashells. I also observe people: nice people (and mean people), large people, tall people, short people and small people, and their emotions; from how happy you were when you got that triple scoop ice cream cone to how sad you were when your husband left you. Yikes. But rest assured, I've seen a great deal of what there is to see. And I plan to write about it too. I enjoy trance music and chocolate in my spare time as well- together, of course. :)

  • Hailey Mahan
Hailey is a twenty-something that loves to cook, clean, craft, and anything homemaking. Usually a drink is nearby. She recently switched from the law school track to moving to the East Coast to go to Grad School to pursue her dreams. How sweet, huh? But, it can be hard to concentrate at her paralegal job with so many recipes online! She currently lives in Dayton, Ohio (about an hour north of Cincinnati) and when she is not homemaking or working she enjoys her other old lady hobby of collecting silent film memorabilia. She also is a big fan of nightlife, wine (or just alcohol in general), fashion, old movies, True Blood, Mad Men, and new restaurants. She hopes to one day bring her know-how to twenty-something, single girls everywhere who just want a single serving of baked mac & cheese and to know why their tomato plants keep on dying!

  • Mufsin Mahbub
I have graduated from Long Island University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. My academic preparation has helped me develop my writing, editing, and researching skills. I have started writing while in college for my campus paper Seawanhaka and gained editorial experience from my time working for websites like DesiHits and TheCelebrityCafe. My first internship at DesiHits helped me learn about working in online media by producing photos, videos, and text for all the South Asian news as well as one-on-one interviews with many different people in the media business that gets created onto the site. After a few months, I got promoted to junior editor helping with the editorial meetings and going to big press events. My second internship was with TheCelebrityCafe where I wrote articles on their website and went and covered press events as well as interviewing people from the film industry. I freelance for Today's Teen Online writing topics on health, education, relationships, and technology. I worked part-time as an intern at the French channel Trace TV covering urban music on their segments and website. I recently worked as a content writer for Holiday Events, LLC and Clubplanet.com writing about venues, events, and the nightlife.
  • Brittany Mendenhall
Brittany Mendenhall is a crackberry addict who refuses to go any place where she will have less than four bars. She has three obsessions: social media, sexy celebrities and hors d'oeuvres. With a B.A. in Journalism and Media studies, Brittany jumped on the weblog bandwagon and created ChiChi212.com, a lifestyle guide for New Yorkers. When she is not busy buying domain names for websites she'll probably never get around to making, she's blogging, updating her social media profiles and reading books about blogging and social media profiles. Brittany loves being a journalist as this occupation has allowed her to attend countless fashion weeks, award shows, film festivals and special events. She is thought to be a nightlife/lifestyle expert and has never met a glass of champagne or pinot noir she didn't like. Her favorite TV shows are Gossip Girl, Entourage, The Big Bang Theory, Weeds and Confessions of a Call Girl (R.I.P. Boy Meets World, Sex and the City and all the original WB shows). Brittany thinks Clueless and The Social Network define her generation and will defeat anyone who begs to differ. She had a short stint in law school, she knows how to argue. In a perfect world her ex-boyfriends would include Taylor Hanson, Paul Walker, Shia LaBeouf, Chris Pine and Chuck Bass. Before she dies Brittany would really like to be on "Wheel of Fortune" because she has beaten everyone who has ever challenged her online.
