Hope for life MinistryI am a 21 Year man who working for poor and needy children in Pakistan in province of Punjab and I am running ministry name Hope for Life Ministry is non-denominational, christian ministry and our visitors are from all walks of life. It,s found on 01 January 2010. We are primarily help the orphans and slaved children. we have two Sunday school and two Home school in different villages. Hope for Life is a village based ministry working in these village there peoples have no education about Jesus. Hope for Life helping these children they have no approach to get education give them their basic need for education. Hope for Life also help the needy peoples and widows. We are help the children with stationary, clothes school bags uniform and book and bibles. We provide the children home school there they get better education and grow up in the faith of Jesus. Hope for Life Ministry support 56 children in different villages and working in brick kiln. There are schools are open and teaching students. There are many female students enrolling which takes courage of the families because traditionally in Pakistan any from education has been reserved for males. The school is also enrolling some of the young boys that had been work in brick kiln. We are thanks the families of those boys for providing then this valuable opportunity. More families are seeing what their neighbors children learn and gain from school and became encouraged to let their children participate in the school and its activities. We are currently have 58 children living with us ranging in age from four to thirteen year old all of them we are provide them good food , education, social status and every right an ordinary child has. It is the mercy of God and the co-operation of faithful sponsors that have enabled the children enjoy all of these benefits. Without your help, many of these children would have no place to live, no one watch over them, no one teach them about love of Jesus.
Ahmar MustikhanI am journalist and Balochi linguist of longstanding and have lived and worked as a reporter and sub-editor in three different countries -- Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and United States. I have worked for premier newspapers, Pakistan's Dawn, The News International; U.A.E.'s The Khaleej Times; and the St. Mary's Today and the Gazette -- affiliated with the Washington Post -- in Maryland, U.S.
Thomas J. MorriseyI’m a journalist with a deep interest in and passion for all things international, especially South Asia. I am currently working on a Master’s thesis on the Naxalite movement in India and preparing for a three-month reporting internship in Pakistan, which will be starting in late September 2011. Outside of international topics and issues, I am very interested in the issues surrounding the American northeastern urban centers that are colloquially known as the “Rust Belt.” Having been born and lived most of my life in Buffalo, and having spent a significant time living in Michigan, whose politics and economy are dominated by Detroit, I have a close personal connection with the region and the issues it faces. My other personal interests include Michigan State Spartan athletics, Buick automobiles, studying the Italian and Urdu languages, and programming. Perhaps surprisingly for a journalist, I have a significant background in software development from a part-time job that I worked at from high school through grad school.
muzammil pansyI'm a doctor by Profession. I've completed my MBBS from Pakistan.
Shannon ImranHello. How are you today. My name is Shannon. I am a wife, mother, disabled Veteran, business owner, advocate for the mentally ill and learning disabled, CEO of an International NGO and coffee drinker. My family and I adopted two cats and there names are Brutus and Shelby. They comfort us and keep us entertained. Brutus is a Siberian and Shelby is a Blue Russian. Who would have known we adopted Russian cats. It is ironic because my grandparents immigrated from the beautiful country of Russia during the Bolshevic Revolution. I have a lot of family in Russia that I hope to locate one day. I grew up all over the world. I was mainly raised in Germany and was fortunate enough to travel throughout Europe. Even though I am not from Germany I miss that country dearly. Also, I have visited the Royal Kingdom of Saudia Arabia and have lived in Pakistan. I am often asked, "Where is my hometown?" My answer is the world! My life is a journey just like yours. Constantly changing and adapting to the unexpected roads of life. Semper FI, Shannon
Manzer MunirI was born in Pakistan, raised in Saudi Arabia in a uniquely American and international expatriate culture, where I was educated since primary school in the local American embassy school for US and foreign children. I grew up and came of age in America as I started and finished high school and college in the States. And despite having a blog dedicated to peace in Pakistan, I am a proud American and believe that there is no better country in the world than the USA and no better documents than the US constitution and the Bill of Rights. I believe I have a unique outlook and perspective on life having lived in three vastly different countries. The United States however, my adopted and much loved homeland, with her ideals of liberty and prosperity form the basis of my being that allow me to be both American and Pakistani. I am also at once a secular constitutionalist and a Sufi Muslim, a Democrat and at times, a Republican, an idealist, yet also someone who is pragmatic. I believe that these characteristics and their varied accompanying perspectives come through in my writings. For more, please visit http://www.pakistanisforpeace.com
