Not yet in that comfort zone that makes people look down on others or take things for granted. Born in one of the poorest states in one of the most complex nations in the world, which gives me an insight of issues normally overlooked by those who enjoy living in safe countries. I am interested in space exploration, paleontology and cryptozoology, as well as various other scientific branches. My photo flew with a Space Shuttle mission in December 2010. My radio show is now off the air after a run of over 42 years. I have been working in the automotive field since 1971, and was part of a Canadian rock band for about 10 years. I was born and raised on an active cotton and vegetable farm in South Texas and have lived in Texas all my life. I have been to Paris & London one time and have not otherwise been out of the country except for the night we got married in Nuevo Laredo in 1956. Before, in between and after having and helping raise 4 daughters, I have worked in many categories: industry, education, marketing, retail, bar tending, paleontology, legal, computers, telemetry and farming. It has been a very varied, interesting and at times challenging life. I have survived a stroke, a heart attck, and am a four-time cancer survivor. My husband is the soul of patience with all of this and we have met and enjoyed many interesting people through the years.

Raised all over Asia in an expat American family, Chase Meader had travelled to five continents by the age of 12. Completing high school in Hong Kong, he returned to the US to attend University of Washington in Seattle. Upon early graduation, Chase returned to Hong Kong where he currently resides and works. Eager to sit down and discuss physics, biology, astrology, geology, paleontology, and oceanography, all things science and technology fascinate Chase as well as all ancient mythology and anthropology. Widespread family and travel spontaneity keeps him an airport lounger which allows time to satiate his appetite for TV shows and the occasional non-fiction book.

I'm a masters student in Geomicrobiology. I have a BA in Geology and I've loved rocks, paleontology, and environmental science since I was 2 years old. I live with my boyfriend who also has a BA in geology and is getting his masters in secondary education to become an Earth Science teacher. I also love the Wizard of Oz, giraffes, and mermaids.
