Lakeside Pottery is a ceramic art and craft educational resource for the community focusing on clay art. We seek to inspire creativity, foster self-discovery, and nurture an appreciation to learn about art through our pottery programs, special events and access to our studio, clay center and gallery.

When two real moms realized over a decade ago all the work it took to put together a great kids’ bedroom, they decided to create Pottery Barn Kids. A place where moms (and dads) could find everything they needed to design the perfect place for their kids to grow, learn, discover and explore – without having to miss one precious moment.

My name is Kylie Stewart, I am an outgoing fun loving 22 year old who has an old soul. I love music, dancing and EATING... Eating being one of my top ten favorites! I am artistic... I love painting, creating, drawing, pottery and thins of that sort. I have a great life with great and talented friends, who like me, are goofy in every way! You could say I am the modern day princess, spoiled to the core with friends and famly and a job that I love... I work hard at everything I do and am very competative... It is not in me to fail! Dancing and sports are what inspire me, music is my muse and my hands create :]

We are a family devoted to art, pottery, weaving and jewelry, passed from father to son The tissue we learned from our grandmother Andrea Flores Acurio is those years lay in the Urubamba in the community known as Pichingoto 10 minutes from City Medical teach my grandmother Jhaneth her granddaughter, she is the producer of sweaters, hats, etc.

I enjoy helping others with the pottery projects. When it comes time to fire the kiln up I come in handy. What a great time I have firing clay.

I am married to the love of my life for nine years. I'm blessed with six grown kids, and am proud of all of them, and their accomplishments. I have 3 beautiful grandkids, two of which I don't get to see very often. I love arts and crafts. I love to paint, throw pottery, weld, and scrapbook and make greeting cards with rubber stamps. I am very happy and truly blessed.

Rebecca Spooner is an emerging freelance writer who has published various articles and poems. She is a mother of three young children and has a passion for writing and pottery.

Grew up in Philadelphia area. Went to Hood College then started in a marketing career, the highlight of which was helping to launch AOL. Began second career in writing about 4 years ago. In the meantime, have taught pottery classes and sell my work.

Alea Schroeder attended Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA, and holds a bachelor's degree in art. Ms. Schroeder currently owns a Paint-it-Yourself Pottery studio in Winter Park, Florida, and seeks to integrate art into the lives of everyone.

I am a licensed Radiologic Technologist working for a major hospital. I paint, draw, sculpt, and throw pottery as a second occupation. I have also performed in musical comedies for local venues.

I am an amateur artist. I have a B.F.A. from Texas Women's University. I don't get to do art as much as I would love to. My mom developed a menegioma not long after I was laid off. It's been a rocky few years since then. Lately I have been experimenting with pottery. I have also started crafting hairsticks, due to a love of long hair.

The challenging job of stay-at-home mom of 3 for the past 10 years has seasoned me to depths and heights beyond belief. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1997 and have worked in the media of pottery, painting, and drawing. I also worked as a medical transcriptionist after completing an online course in 2008.

As a historian and Anthropologist, I have been involved in living history and teaching Native Woodland Educational Programs to students and to the general public for thirty years. I helped found a nonprofit educational park in 2001 and became its director, wrote grants and supervised special events which included School of the Native featuring Native and non-native professionals in the areas of Woodland Arts and Culture. I have published several books on Native Woodland and Great Lakes Indians. I just finished a teacher resource book called, "Natives Along the Wabash and Ohio" This is coming out in the spring of 2010. I have another two publications, one called, "Ancestors of the Ohio," and "Eastern Woodland Clothing, Textiles and Villages, currently in different stages of editing. I worked at Indiana University for one of the archaeology labs last spring identifying textile impressed pottery shards excavated from a site in southern Indiana. I have conducted research at several major museums around the country and in Canada. I continue to do research and write about Native Woodland Indians and have some lesson plans available on our Piankeshaw Trails website.

Well, my background really is pottery. I worked for a company called Spode in stoke-on-trent,England for 8 years which produced fine china and also expensive china. Unfortunalty the company went bankrupt so to speak. I have some fond memories of my time there and it's a job i can, hand on heart, say i do miss. Before Spode closed i went to work for another british company called JCB. These manufacture, on a world platform, small and large diggers and if i am been honest it's on the complete oposite scale to Spode as i hated it there and this is one of the reasons i decided to have ago at running my own - tiny - business, designing and producing football canvases.

I have a degree in Hospitality Management and a degree in Communication. I love all things art, and participate in various arts including, drawing, playing guitar, pottery, graphics and writing. I currently work as a graphic artist.
