Laura VaskeI'm a 30 year old high school Family and Consumer Science teacher so that means I know about a lot of different things. Family/personal finance, child development, sewing, design, culinary arts, pregnancy and prenatal care, etc etc etc. My hobbies include flowers and gardening, traveling, thrift shopping, exploring the supernatural and reading. Anna AAnna Agostino I have been interested in film and travel ever since I can remember. I was born in Ischia,a resplendent Italian island, Italy, whose culture has been influenced greatly by the once occupancy civilizations of the Greeks, Romans, Phoenicians, and Spanish. I grew up among Northern Europeans, mostly German, as well as American tourists, and have always been fascinated by the unique gifts each culture adds. I have studied many languages (Ancient Greek, Clasical Latin, Sanskrit), I am fluent in several (Italian, English, French, German), I am currently studying Spanish, and have even done a workshop in Quechua. I am the daughter of pedagogue/social worker and a teacher and have always been interested in education, community service, and storytelling. I studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in London and have lived in Paris, where I attended film and photograhy classes at the Cin̮'̩matḫ'̬que Fran̮'̤aise. I moved to the United States to attend Virginia Commonwealth University where I created my own major by combining filmmaking, film studies, and photograhy in addition to a curriculum filled with many performing arts classes. I moved to New York City in 1997 where I started a career in film and television production working in all different areas of the business, including film distribution. I was the first Print Traffic Coordinator at Anthology Film Archives and Assistant Curator to the poet and filmmaker, Jonas Mekas. I have worked as a producer at the Italian American Institute, John D. Calandra, Queens College of the City University of New York on the program Italics about the Italian-American experience. I have also worked in newscasting at RAI, the Italian state television in NYC, as well as working on many other productions. I hold several certifications as a yoga teacher, a profession I practiced successfully for many
