Tyler Robert BaugherBackground Axe the Ace (born Tyler Robert Baugher on March 18th, 1995) is a punk rock guitarist from Anderson, Indiana. He has spent much of his life in Saint Louis, Missouri as it is like a second home to him because his father moved their after his parents split. He was actually born in Kokomo, Indiana however he moved to Anderson at age two. Influence Axe was constantly around metal and rock music when he was a little boy. By four years old he was singing Rob Zombie and around sixth grade he memorized nearly ever Metallica song. Soon, in 7th grade he discovered punk rock through his father, Zechariah Clark, listening to the Sex Pistols. Ever since then, Punk Rock had been the Ace’s favorite genre of music because of its attitude, rhythm, loud dynamics, and revolutionary lyrics and the boldness of the musicians. The Ramones guitarist, Johnny Ramone, had a huge impact on his note choice and style both musically and clothing wise. Grunge was also very influential to Axe the Ace. Nirvana is still today his favorite grunge band followed by Alice in Chains. L7‘s “Pretend that we’re dead” is also a huge influence on his anti-mainstream outlooks. Soundgarden was enjoyed because of their rhythm and guitar licks. When Tyler joined Anderson High School’s (Anderson, Indiana) Jazz band in 2012, he started to develop a more bluesy sound and learned more advanced technics and cords that he never saw before in rock music. He quickly picked up the F Blues Scale and used it in his own music for both solos and rhythm. Rap music is a small influence. He liked it for its attitude and instrumentals. His favorite rappers are Tupac and ABK. Psychopathic Records artist are definitely influences however Axe the Ace keeps his music clean and to the point. When it comes to appearance, Axe the Ace is definitely influenced by rockers of the 70’s and 80’s and the 50’s greasers. He spots hair below his shoulders and a black leather jacket with a Misfits band patch.

Mark FlemingBeen into creative writing since the late 1970s. First began scribbling during the UK's 'punk rock era', when I joined a band and started writing lyrics. This led to poetry, then short stories. Have had numerous stories published in anthologies and magazines. My first novel was published in 2009, 'BrainBomb', followed by a story collection in 2010 'Bedlam'. Both are examples of contemporary British fiction, although the novel - a bipolar diary that melds fact and fantasy - is heavily autobiographical. I also write non-fiction on any of the subjects listed.

Bryan DoneI have been a traveler, a street kid, a musician, a hippy, and a geek. I worked at Guitar Center in Pro Audio for a year and received the rush training on more sound equipment than you could name. I have played in punk rock bands from all ages venues to Warped Tour. I have traveled coast to coast more like Woody Guthrie, or Jack Kerouac than your standard Deadhead. I've jumped freight from my hometown, Ogden, Utah (A major railroad town, now lost in urbanization) to destinations in every direction. I am also a horrid geek and avid reader. I repair computers as a side business hardware and software. I stay up on open-source software and all sorts of new devices. I play acoustic punk/reggae/folk. Or electric Rock 'n' Roll.
Maggie DayI have always been told that I do things the hard way. I think of it as the fact that I am always up for a challenge, or simply have to learn things for myself. It has been with age and exposure to wisdom that I realized that I can trust in others' experiences. I have also learned that I need to share more of my experiences in order to help others with life's challenges. I have been many things in life, and I have worn many faces of womanhood. I grew up in a semi-rural area in a Roman Catholic home, filled with children and life affirming struggles. I declared my need to be the black sheep during my teenage years by being the hippie-goth-punk-rock jock that started to emerge as part of Generation X. I went to college, and depression followed me, so I sought escape in drugs, sex, and alcohol. At 21 I was pregnant and cleaning up my ways, when my baby girl arrived. From then on, I took college seriously, while I worked, ran a family, and tried to make things work with my baby's daddy, whom I married when our girl was 5 years old. I went through episodes of major depression every few years and would loose myself in addiction as my own 'therapy'. After the events of 9-11, my husband decided to join the Army and do his part. We were both 30 and now the parents of 2 girls. Becoming a military family was rewarding and torturous. We gained pride and strength and patriotism. We lost years of time with the man of our house (he deployed 3 times, for a total of 3.5 years gone in a 6 year period.) We also lost trust in him, with his disturbing, then betraying behavior, after his mind got scrambled from PTSD. As we all heal, and try to work things out, I have finally received the medical help I needed for my major depressive disorder. though it involved institutionalization, I now follow the 12 steps and I am seeking peace. My adventures are something that I want to share with the world in the hopes of helping others.
