Kelsey McCormick was born and raised in Detroit, MI and continues to be the city s biggest advocate. In 2011, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Western Michigan University. Currently, Kelsey is pursuing her Master’s Degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University. Kelsey is not ashamed to admit that she is a reality TV, celebrity drama, and everything media ADDICT. Kelsey spends most of her time freelance writing with Billy, her Malti-Poo puppy right by her side.

I have been a middle school Social Studies teacher for the last 10 years. Hello and welcome to the LoriLynnS profile page ~ I am a huge fan of a number of genres of Entertainment - books, movies, TV, reality TV, music and art (mostly my own but I do check out the art posted on Elfwood). The thing is, I am not a 100% mainstream. I'm like a cross between the party girl, cause you know I like to get my groove on, and a sci-fi con-going-lovable geek, who smiled all the way through the 2009 Star Trek movie and knows who the Black Panther is in the TV cartoon version of Spider Man. Something I've noticed missing for misfits like me is honest reviews of the books and movies I like. I get that everyone's taste is individual but these movies and books wouldn't be making it if there wasn't more like minded people out there who like shaking their booty to Beyonce, getting shocked when Snookie got smacked on Jersey Shore, reading smutty paranormal romances by LKH and watching Wolverine with the oh so yummy Hugh Jackman. I plan on sharing my take on various novels, movies, TV shows, artworks and music in the hopes that I can generate some fan appreciation from the public for the items write about. I'm a Gemini and I follow those horoscope traits of a dual personality so I promise to keep this fun and to shake it up. Enjoy~

Country girl meets the big city. Once on a reality show myself, I became obsessed with all things Reality TV. From working in the music industry doing Wardrobe, Makeup, and PR to working in orphanages in Haiti and Costa Rica I ve seen it all. I am a 37 year old journalism student at SMWC College. I am a wife, and mother of one daughter. I am a sophomore, and am on the honor roll. I have been writing since grade school. It is my passion! I have already published an article based on an interview with a music group in an online music magazine in Nov. of 2009. I am very good at what I do, and will go above and beyond for anyone who chooses to work with me. I enjoy watching reality TV, and am an avid horror movie fan. I'm also an overweight vegetarian with a blood panel that would make anyone jealous. My triglycerides are 112 even though I’m 250 pounds – what are yours? I'm not vegetarian for ethical reasons, but because I grossed myself out when I found a chicken feather in my fast food meal. I used to bemoan the fact that I was overweight, but then I realized I’m happy eating what I want – which is a ton of fruits and vegetables, but yes, some Cokes and candy mixed in there. I think we focus WAY too much on whether our legs have cottage cheese on them and not enough on whether or not we’re being good people to one another, so I aim to change that, even if it means naming and sham
