I work in the Sport and Recreation field in Pennsylvania. I am a Philadelphia Sports fan and a Penn State football and Duke basketball follower!

Kimberly Kilmer is a graduate of West Virginia University and holds a B.S. in Recreation. A canine behavior and training expert, she has been writing since 1990 and has been published in national and regional dog magazines. She is currently a freelance content provider, blogger, pet columnist for Heathcare Traveler magazine, staff writer for Metropolitan Magazine and college adjunct instructor teaching Pet Enrichment programs.

The Philadelphia Suburbs have been my home since birth. The city itself has influenced my life greatly and I love it for that. I attended Archdiocesan schools from kindergarten through high school. After attending thirteen years of Catholic School, I decided to attend Temple University where I double majored in Public Relations and Sport and Recreation Management. Adding one of my majors late, it put me on the 5-year plan, so I graduated in May of 2009. While in college I worked three different jobs at various times. I spent four summers (beginning between junior and senior year of high school) with the Philadelphia Athletics Historical Society. There my duties mainly consisted of daily operation of the museum and gift shoppe which occupied a small storefront in Hatboro, PA. I was also fortunate enough to spend some of my time there doing my own research and learned a great deal about the game of baseball, a sport I love more than any other. In 2007, during my junior year, I landed an internship with the Philadelphia Phillies in their phone center. The internship consisted mostly of answering the phones and selling game tickets, but it also gave me an opportunity to work with other departments as well and get to know different people in the organization. In March of 2008, I was asked to take on a little more responsibility at the Phillies by becoming a Group and Season Sales intern. I remained in the Sales Office from the 2008 through 2010 season, and finished there in March of 2011. Also during my junior year I interned in the Sports Media Relations Office at Temple. I spent the summer working in the office and was later able to help out with the larger events during the academic year, including all home football games, men’s basketball games, and some women’s basketball games. I am also the very proud mother of two young boys, trying to balance life and work. Working with the very old and being a mother of the very young, has been a learning adventure everyday!

At present I am employed as a park ranger near Columbia, SC. I was born in Georgia . I have lived in other places working a variety of jobs associated with outdoor recreation. Colorado, California, and Alaska have been my my home for short periods of time. I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities which often tie in closely with my professional aspirations. Two general issues that I care deeply about are the environment and public lands. I am married to a beautiful woman named Melanie and we have dog named Leo (short for Leopold, as in Aldo Leopold).

I live and work in beautiful Missoula Montana where outdoor recreation abounds. I am an amateur writer aspring to move on to greater writing challenges. I've always loved writing but prior to moving to Montana simply didn't have enough hours in the day to write anything worthwhile. I am involved in the flooring industry and I am a Regional Manager for a wholesale tile and stone distributor. I have over 15 years in the commercial floorcovering industry and my expertise lies in commercial sheet vinyl and residential tile and stone. I love the day to day challenges and have visited floorcovering companies from all over the world including Holland, Germany, England, Sweden, Canada and several locations within the United States. I enjoy all types of outdoor recreation especially hunting, fishing and camping but my favorite activity is spending time with my my wife and daughter.

Dr. Deah Schwartz has more than 20 years experience using therapeutic arts, music, drama and recreation activities in a variety of clinical and educational settings with clients ranging in age from 5 to 80+. She has a Doctorate in Education, a BA in Theater, an MS in Therapeutic Recreation, and an MA in Creative Arts Education. Deah is a Nationally Certified Recreation Therapist and was a lecturer at San Francisco State University for 10 years, preparing students for careers in Recreation Therapy. Having studied theater at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City and as a member of Actors' Equity, Deah has a unique combination of experience as a performer, teacher and clinician. This background, coupled with her fervent belief in size acceptance, has led to her passionate involvement in the "LEFTOVERS Workbook/DVD set," and she hopes that it will provide assistance in defining one's own standard of beauty and finding ways to make peace with one's body. In addition to being a co-author and original cast member of "LEFTOVERS: THE UPS AND DOWNS OF A COMPULSIVE EATER," Deah is one of the co-founders of Education Through Therapeutic Arts (ETTA) and co-author of the LEFTOVERS Workbook/DVD set.

David Stegall is a lifelong resident of north-central Florida. He is an avid volunteer with local community events, and a previous board member of the Lawtey Recreation Department. I have many interest and currently I would like to introduce and share with you hobbies which can be used for personal recreation or as business opportunities.

At 7 years old I was given a small green diary, and I've written almost every day of my life since then.I love books and poetry, which I've also been writing most of my life. Currently I'm a Paramedic, full time college student, and freelance writer with very little free time. When there is time for recreation I enjoy biking, hiking, swimming, camping, and almost any outdoor activity. I love animals in general and have 3 wonderful rescue dogs.

First and foremost, I like to say that I am a wife and mother of 2 children above all else. However, I am also a recreation coorindator in a retirement community, a dog owner, a cat owner, a best friend, a sister, a daughter, a cook, a gardner, and on and on. As most women in this millenium, I don't wear one hat, but many. Hopefully I can share of the knowledge and ideas that I have gained through my experiences with the readers!
