I am a concerned US citizen who does not know how health care reform will impact our country. I research the effects of these changes and how health care evolves throughout history and the future. As a health care faculty member for a major university, I enjoy guiding the next generation to finding solutions to these concerns. As a mom of two children in their twenties, a military wife, and a daughter of an elderly father I see all the spectrum of health care needs.

  • Bobert
I am Bob. I attempt to live everyday with a humble approach to life to fulfill my every desire to be simplistically happy. It is a challenge. I have two sons and a fiance who has a beautiful little girl. Our lives are far from simple, a stretch from ordinary, and as exciting as any adventure should be. My interests are vast, I am a dreamer, but my will is strong. My parents raised me with a resolve to accomplish with persistency the climbing of every mountain that appears in my path. My brother, sister, and I are strong. We pass this characteristic on to family, friends, and all who enter our lives. I am fortunate enough to be a passionate person and neurotic enough to be interesting. I cover these odd perceptions with sugarcoated charm and bottle up my neurotic passions so that I can appear more ameable to social norms. I've decided, as of late, that the economy is not conducive to a young man in my geographic area with a lack in credentials to be successful in securing a career with a large competitive company. So, in lieu of this reality, I've decided that a man of my ability should not limit himself to one fortune 1000 company and have deduced that it is my duty to contribute wherever I can while pursuing my eccentric whims in the efforts to find successes. At this point I will simply not quit until I have created a life that my children can admire, rich with knowledge that they may obtain, and abundant with fruits of success that they may pluck to propel their impending careers or seek out their dreams the way a child should be permitted. I hope my knowledge on family, neuroticism, economics, psychology, love, soccer, green energy, life/health/property/casualty insurance, health reform, being at a deficit with money, being rich with love, music, and living in general are satisfactory to all who read that which I write.

  • Grandma Kay Lee
I'm a responsible, educated, productive pot-smoking, otherwise law-abiding mother, great and grand, to 17 nice people. I'm also an ordained minister who, as often as possible, connects with the spiritual nature of all things. I use the natural plant Cannabis to raise my quality of life. (It helps me be nicer to annoying people. Aren't you glad? lol). I advocate for almost lost causes ie prison and drug law reform, human rights, an end to prohibition, and lasting peace: I'm sure war is not the way to peace. I deeply love my country as the Constitution laid it out. I claim the rights that God gave me and that the Constitution confirms. I am very disappointed that political types don't honor God nor the founding documents of our nation.

  • P.J. Michaud
I've lived in the St. John Valley most of my life. I'm a 45-year-old mother of three whose been married for 26 years. Some of the jobs I've worked at include machinist, Tupperware sales consultant, Associate Broker (real estate), and teacher aide. My husband has been in the carpentry trade most of his life; and I've managed our construction business. We employed over twenty people at one point; but we've since closed the business. I continue to manage the rental properties we own. I became active in politics after I had represented our business and my family members in judicial matters and discovered that no matter how good my evidence was... it didn't seem to matter. It was as though the judges had made up their minds about who was going to win the case before they even heard what the parties had to say. I decided to write a book to expose the obvious errors and corruption I'd witnessed first-hand. In 2006, I began blogging about other injustices I heard of and read about. In March of 2009, in an effort to pass judicial reform in Maine, I presented the Maine legislature with the JAIL 4 Judges mission statement. Soon afterward, I learned that the position of JAILer-In-Chief for Maine was open, and decided to fill it. J.A.I.L. (Judicial Accountability Initiative Law) is one of the most promising solutions for putting a halt to the abuse of discretion (I'm being nice here) which judges around the country are engaging in. J.A.I.L. is an amendment to a state or federal Constitution, which creates grand juries of citizens for the purpose of putting a judge on trial. At least two other people sent the four-page JAIL amendment to the judiciary committee in an effort to get them to consider it under LD 491 "An Act to Reform Maine's Justice System," but the committee simply shoved it aside... one member saying that the reason being: LD 491 was "too broad."
