When she was young, Renaissance Woman displayed a great aptitude for writing, but over the years she drifted from her first love. Her jumbled life has found her toiling in the fields of journalism, paralegal work, accounting, human resources, marketing, and sales. She has also earned BA and MA degrees in English Literature, reads widely on many topics, and has served several terms as the local president of a national high IQ society. Today she has rediscovered her love of writing and proudly shares her work with her AC readers.

Life-long Francophile, university French teacher, musician (Renaissance, Celtic, Folk, Liturgical and Contemporary), with degrees in French and Music (B.A., M.A., ABD). Lived 12 years in France.

As a retired Marine I served in many capacities from helicopter electrician and classroom instructor to combat aircrewman. I used the GI Bill to study Public Administration and Pre-Law. I have worked with the US Postal Service, Census Bureau, Air National Guard, and Army Reserve. I left government service to help care for an elderly uncle. My lifelong Marine friends talked me into attending Renaissance Faires as pirates, where we terrorize stage acts with sharp wit and steady heckling.

I am a 27 year old writer living in Oklahoma. I'm into most things geek and love to read. I also perform on the Renaissance Faire circuit with The Ladies of the Salty Kiss and The Shanty Lasses. Currently, I am working on my first novel and hope to have it finished sometime in 2012.

I enjoy sewing Renaissance Costumes, also Anime (Japanese Art) Costumes for myself and my 20-something kids'. I design Silk Corsages for friends' and family. I create and type Resumes for family and friends', when they need my assistance. I enjoy working on the computer and keeping up my News Blog. I write stories and poetry for fun. I love all types of crafts. I home-schooled my daughter and son since 2000. My children graduated in 2007 and 2009. I also grew up working/detailing cars for my step-father who owned many vintage Street Rods. He was a member of the National Street Rod Association (NSRA #112).

I am a professional musician currently "working" in Branson Missouri. I have been playing music for over 35 years and have performed in a diverse range of genres. My experience includes, but is not limited to; night clubs, community theater, renaissance restivals, marching band, pageants, weddings, funerals, and I currently play with the worship team at Branson Methodist Church. I teach guitar, bass guitar, drums, recorder, saxophone and mandolin, privately and in classroom format.

I am a published childrens author and in 2011 will be a published adult fiction author. I write articles and have ghostwritten a few books. I am very passionate about writing and am currently studying script and documentary writing. I do my own photography for my articles and my most popular subjects for articles are: Renaissance history, WW2 history, natural sience, religeon/spirituality and philosophy. This in no way means that I do not write about other subjects, on the contrary, I have great research skills and can write and research well in many feilds.

I enjoy cars, food, art, four seasons, building things, and dogs. And, most of the time, my spouse. Professionally, I have what might be termed a "Renaissance" past, including professional radio disc jockey, legal assistant, art instructor, and construction worker.

I am a realist painter working in the Renaissance tradition with impressionist influence but the older I get the more I seem to be turning into a writer... don't know what to do about it!
