SAILING

Has been sailing since 1978 and holds an active U.S. Coast Guard Masters License. He owned sailboats from 1977-1981 (Tayana 37'), 1991-2006 (Beneteau 39'). He crewed on many vessels, such as, Tatoosh 51, Nordic 44, Hunter 41, Islander 36, J-24, and others. He has extensive sailing experience in coastal and bay waters, incluiding San Francisco Bay, Monterey Bay, Puget Sound, Gulf Islands, USA and Mexico Pacific coasts, and the Sea of Cortez. He recently completed the Baja Ha-Ha (Class of 2009). He speaks a bit of Hungarian, French and Spanish. Other interests include tennis, cycling, chess, gourmet cooking, film/video production, movies, fitness, Internet, computers, others. He is a business consultant and analyst in the high-tech industry with industry experience in the semiconductor industry.

Ed English began his writing career with his first book titled "SCUBA Diving A Newcomer's Point of View" published in 2005. English has owned businesses for over 25 years; he holds several certifications from the National Cable Television Institute, Professional Association of Diving Instructors, American Sailing Association and a Home Inspector Certification.

Gregory Michael Fitzmorris is a freelance writer student pursuing a four-year degree at Bryant University. He aspire to work in the sailing world after college and was an assistant editor of his high school newspaper. He is also born and raised a Boston fan.
