I'm a freelance writer at the verge of getting her drivers permit. I love all types of writings, from fashion updates to the worlds most praised writers. I fell in love with Shakespeare not to long ago; Hamlet simply captured me, nothing like an old black & white DVD to capture the mind. I just had to read the actually play afterwards. Old English is the best English, don't let anyone tell you differently. Any who, I guess I fell in love with writing and grammar around my first month of starting the 7th grade; my teacher was pretty cool, mean but kept it real. Everyone hated her, no joke. I don't know what it is about writing that I love

My writing life is simple. In the morning I walk to the library to write. The library's the safest place in the city for me, not because I'm surrounded by books, but because it's so quiet. While there I have to meet one of three goals: first, write three-thousand, one hundred words. When I read that Norman Mailer put himself on a "three-thousand word-a-day diet" at the beginning of his career, and that Stephen King did as well, I decided to tack on another hundred for myself. I want to best my elders. Second, finish a long story or, third, begin and finish a short one. The latter is what I did this morning. The story was about a telemarketer who discovers his girlfriend is better than he thought she was. A simple idea. Not to sound pretentious, but there's a line from Shakespeare that has stuck with me. It's from Sonnet 66 and goes: "Tired with all these, for restful death I cry, / As to behold desert a beggar born -- And a simple truth miscall'd simplicity." Well, I feel the same way, and my writing reflects that preference for a simple, unadorned style, which doesn't shirk on meaningfulness.

Entertainment is my focus now with me churning out a lot of funny material in the form of poems and poems with prosaic content fully integrated...I have recently begun to explore the viability of YouTube as well. In that forum I have done some Shakespeare Sonnets to broaden the view of my enthusiastic fans...check that out. CJ Snare, front man of Firehouse, was a classmate of mine back home in Lock Haven and I occasionally talk to him and get music updates from his successful music career: when I hear from him I get info about album releases and I send it along to you, usually via YouTube. I write about historical football (college and pro) figures. I have written about major political rallies that I attended including ones with speeches by Obama, Clinton, Palin, and Tim Keane. I have focused my efforts on putting videos on YouTube when the material is best suited for video treatment...check out my links to that on my profile page...I have more interests than is easily summarized in this rectangle...check out my broad sweep of material.
