Lee MavinHi everyone! Im Lee J Mavin. Ive been living in Shanghai for the last three and a half years with my Chinese wife and more recently my daughter Charlotte. Ive started writing freelance here and have published a childrens novel titled "The Diary Of A 7th Grade Hybrid" with Grace Publishers. http://www.publishedbygrace.com/our-publications Im also completing a masters in Creative writing online with the university of Canberra. I was born and raised on the north coast of Australia, New South Wales, and have lived in Japan for a few years as well. My writing career started last year when I published a collection of hip hop themed poems titled Reverse The Universe:collected poems and Unused Lyrics in the US. I then published a collection of short stories titled The Students Sold Us Secrets and have recieved mixed reviews due to the controversial content. My poetry has been quite popular online, allpoetry.com and abctales, have been great in getting more readers. Ive also published short stories on the shortfiction.co.uk site. Im currently working on a collection of poetry titled Eating Up The Chaos, which will be accompanied with photography. This book is drawing on my experiences living in Shanghai.
