Jozef El Jr. was born in 1974 and was raised in a low income high crime area of North East Houston, Texas, where is parents specialized in domestice violence, alcoholism, driving under the influence, mental health hospitals, getting divorced and carpentry. Jozef begin to write creatively at the age of 11, a hobby which helped him escape the reality of life in his neighborhood, in between being bullied, gang banging and breaking and entering. At the age of 17 Jozef's mother decided to help him quit school, on three separate occasions, so he work and help her with the mortgage. At the age of 18 Jozef decided to give college a try, and ended up excelling in basketball, football, several unmentionable activities, and dating his new girlfriend. At the age of 19 Jozef made the decision to join the United States Navy, where he did excel at being a Sailor, as he enjoyed working, fighting, drinking, taking orders, dishing out punishment, and getting tattoos. He was honorably discharged from the world's greatest Navy after 9 years of service and now resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife of almost 20 years (formerly the new girlfriend), son and daughter, and from time to time, he still writes.

I am an aspiring renaissance woman with a loud mouth and an old soul. I am a contributing writer for the Houston Press, a regular concert reviewer and most recently, an expectant mother. I am constantly changing: absorbing new music, adding more tattoos, and modifying my tresses. Rizzo (from the movie "Grease") was the first woman to truly inspire me.

Born 28 years a go in Guatemala city I have always been an admirer of art, around the age of 12 I started to paint and learn about it and by the time I was 23 I had my first solo show exhibiting my paintings in Austria.
