Believe. Whether that be in yourself or a cause, have a belief in something. I believe in the power of communication, rhetoric, and nonverbals. From the beginning of time to the present day, our communication skills have defined us as societies. We must never get away from the personal touch of human communication. I am a Master's student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florid Atlantic University, and I absolutely love to teach and working with students. If you tailor your class appropriately and find new and exciting ways to breakthrough to your students- the learning possibilites are endless. I love to be outdoors, work out, run, bike ride, and go to the beach or pool. While living in Florida, all that is possible on the same day. I enjoy a good movie and an entertaining TV show (Lost, The Office, Seinfeld, Friday Night Lights). I also trust in the power of positive thinking. You can zap yourself out of any funk with taking a positive outlook on your situation.

Greetings, I am freelance writer and real estate professional in the San Francisco. Having been born and raised in Northern California, I have enjoyed activities in the outdoors since an early age. When I am not at the office I can likely be found at the beach which is a short 30 second jog from my house. I consider myself fortunate to have traveled extensively and to call the bay area my home. Professionally, my focus is on having an impact by teaching and helping others. I believe that the future of business and non-profits are intertwined, and that social enterprise will provide sustainable solutions to a multitude of our world's problems.
  • May Obial
I am not really a writer, so do not expect so much from me except a wide range of thoughts, ideas and experiences that I want to share. I graduated in 2004 at the University of the Philippines, Manila where I took up BA Development Studies. For almost 3 years, I worked in the Office of the President, Malacanang. I started to get bored and decided to take up Nursing at Dr. Yanga's Colleges, Inc., Bulacan in the third quarter of 2005. In February 2010, I passed the local board exam and became a registered nurse. Currently, I am working part-time as an online business provider. More updates on my profile next year as I move to Australia...

I am an independent writer/director. I have a number of film productions planned in the writing stages with a Computer-Animated movie titled The Last Patriarch at the forefront. I'm a fluent user of Blender, the free, open-source computer graphics application that allows me to work out my ideas visually when I can find time. My personal production blog details all my on-going projects: http://patriarchproduction.com My film work is currently on hold at the moment though. I'm currently working on a story called The Caves which will be released online in serialized episode format. I'm also learning to paint because I want it to be as much of a visual experience as a literary one when it goes online this summer. I'm an avid TV and Movie aficionado. I enjoy all genres and am always attempting to learn new things. My interests, as a result are broad and ever-changing but I tend to enjoy complex subject matter with intricate plot twists and really good characters. Great visual effects and a good soundtrack also go a long way. The Dark Knight, both Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, Casino Royale, any of the Star Wars movies, The Lion King, Indiana Jones, Lady and the Tramp, Bandslam, Casablanca, The Bourne Ultimatum, Down With Love, Star Trek, and Gone With the Wind are some of my favorite movies. My favorite TV Shows are HOUSE, LOST, Battlestar Galactica (off-air), The Wire (off-air), 24 (off-air), Secret Life of the American Teenager, Community, The Office, Gossip Girl, Rescue Me, The Closer, Damages, and 90210. I've been studying film and writing independently since I was 8 so I hope to share some of my vast knowledge and experiences of the fiction writing process and other topics I come upon in my study of life and the universe to become a better writer.
