    My name is Don Rahrer. I work in the Radiology Department at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I graduated from the Indiana University Purdue University at Fort Wayne with majors in English and Journalism. I also took courses in Administration and Entrepreneurship. Presently, I will be completing surveys to express my ideas on a number of issues. I will also submit articles to different publishing sites about topics I have researched including addiction, nursing homes, blogging, parenting, criminal thinking, and scams on the internet to mention a few.

    April Perryman-French attended Ventura & Cuesta Community Colleges, receiving her AA from Cuesta in 1999. She received her Baccalaureate Degree in Liberal Studies from Antioch University in 2001 with major concentration in Psychology and a minor concentration in Communications. She went on to obtain her Master's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Child & Family Studies in 2003. For her Master's project she designed a curriculum in diversity education using storytelling and the arts. April has taught in the BA program at Antioch University since 2003. Courses she has taught include Educational Foundations & Academic Planning, Storytelling, Diversity & Global Awareness, Critical & Creative Thinking, Competence for Personal & Professional Pursuits, Communication Skills, Understanding Diverse Perspectives in the Contemporary World, Service Learning in the Community and Capstone/Senior Project. April also taught Speech Communication and Group Dynamics for a couple terms at Santa Barbara Business College. In the past, April has worked in various agencies serving young adults, youth and children. She has worked in group homes, drug and alcohol programs, shelters, in lock down facilities, in the schools and served as a mentor to high risk teens through Ventura Mental Health as well as through AmeriCorps, National Service Organization. She has volunteered at Camarillo State Hospital, American Red Cross, Paso Robles Healthy Start, and other community organizations. Most recently she has worked as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator at Antioch University and as the Youth Director at Trinity United Methodist Church in Los Osos. April has lived with her partner Cindie for over 17 years and has been officially married to her for one year. They are the proud parents of a beautiful one year old son, and are also foster parents.
