I may have learned a few things in my life through observation and being in a variety of situations. I grew up on the east coast, and must admit that the only things I really miss from there are a very few good friends, and the great food. I did not marry my high school sweetheart, but found true life long Love after a failed marriage. I climbed the ladder of success, graduating college with honors while holding a full time supervisory job. I burned out and jumped off the ladder, exchanging the new cars, motorcycles and two story houses of the past, for a 20 year old trailer home and salvage yard vehicles I found my comfort zone in the middle of Missouri and now consider it to be my home.

I'm a mother of 3, formerly a High School English Teacher. I have been a stay at home mom for 3 years and I am now waitressing part-time and have finally found a way to break into my true love: writing. Like millions of other people around the world, I am a Facebook fanatic (mostly because it is generally my only contact with the outside adult world during the day). As a result, many of my friends and family have told me that they love my status' and comments, think that they're hilarious and that I should start a blog. So, I figured, "Why not?" Upon his exodus from the Bay area, Mr. Torchon returned to the Southland and took a stab at Hollywood where he ran a feature film production company on the warmer side of Sunset blvd. After paying his dues with the schmoozing and the boozing he decided to leave the land of suits, suites and sushi and brave the real world of film making by going off to uncharted back water locations and truly getting his hands dirty. Working as the archetypical everyman, Mr. Torchon spent time performing a variety of duties that included assistant to several Producers and Directors, PA, grip, electrician, production coordinator, craft service consultant and product placement director. When home once again called he turned his attention to writing and was hired by his non English speaking Sensei to create a martial arts action screenplay, one that would showcase his master's expansive combat prowess and limit speaking abilities. This required him to write dialogue that boiled down to short, funny and Confucius inspired sentences. His next assignment was much darker and would involve months of research as Mr. Torchon developed and wrote a teleplay based upon the true life events of the secret Israeli Mosaad's airlift of Ethiopian Jews from the Sudan refugee camp on the border of war torn Ethiopia which was originally considered for Turner Broadcast. Mr. Torchon has applied his talents to everything from script and character development to producing long format radio programs and infomercials, advertising media buyer to Web Marketing strategies and event promotions. Hi my name is Sandy Virtue. I am 50 years old. I currently live on a small farm in Montana. I just recently moved back to my home state after spending twenty years in Wyoming. I owned and operated a home based business in Douglas Wyoming. I have brought the business to Montana with me and continue to work at it . I have been happily married to a wonderful man for twenty five years. I have two grown children , a daughter and a son that I love dearly, I also have a few pets -- two dogs, 1 cat, and 25 chickens including my rooster. I have been a stay at home Mom for most of my married life. Now as an empty nester, I have gone back to work part time and have returned to my passion -writing. I have also been enjoying spending time with my husband and getting to know each other again. I have been writing since I was six years old. And I did get published in my elementary, middle school and high schools newspapers. I have loved writing poetry for years. And I also like to write stories about real happenings in my life. My pets also have a place in my writing world. I like to write about their exploits. I love the life that God gave me. He has been a great inspiration in my life. He has given me the gift of writing and the gift of being able to sew. Most of my prose and poetry is from true life experience and that is mainly what I like to write about. I also love to read and try my hand at crossword puzzles. I love to garden and work in my yard when I can. And have recently taken up the sport of fishing with my husband. As a writer, all of my training comes from my Middle and High School English and History teachers.
