I have always been a writer. My main writing focus is on young children ages 0-5 and brain develop. The young minds can be enriched and "woken up" through proper games, reading, and going on field trips to the zoo, park, farms, etc. I am an authority on literacy development starting from day one of a baby's life! My third area of study is twins. I have identical twins and have become a twin parent specialist through studying their lives and reading numerous books and articles about twins. I have had 15 books published which all required hours and hours of studying in order to create a high quality, practical product that educate families and teachers.

Employer: Verizon Wireless - Trainer, Training Manager, Curriculum Developer, Curriculum Manager/Editor. It was there I gained most of my writing experience. I resigned in 2009 to pursue freelance writing and spend more time with my family (Corporate Mom = Corporate Travel...and the decision to leave was well considered.) I loved my career at Verizon! I majored in Journalism at William Woods University and attended Broadcast Center in St. Louis, MO - which involved a year of writing and presenting news copy. On a personal note, I have been published as a feature editorialist multiple times in the St. Louis Suburban Journal. I have also written many articles for Associated Content and Yahoo! TV. I have finished 2 books and seeking publication for both. I am a mother of 4 children, including twins. I have a wide variety of interests, mostly in the arts. Lastly, I enjoy people, places and events but am most drawn to ideas and visionaries!
