VOLUNTEERING

I am an energetic and enthusiastic wife and mother of two. I enjoy being a parent, volunteering, cooking, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and watching ice hockey games.

Raised in a rural community of NE Central MO, Monica became accustomed to the slow, leisurely life of a country girl. In 1994 she enlisted in the United States Army to expand her horizons and soon found herself a seasoned, world traveler. After completing her tour of duty in 1998, Monica relocated to the Nashville, TN area to work in the health insurance industry. In 2008 she completed her life goal of obtaining a college degree and made a career change from health insurance to Medical Assistant. Currently, she is a stay at home mom to two little girls and is an active member of her church and community, volunteering her time in nursing homes, community fundraisers, and various other middle TN events.
