I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York where my passion for acting began by performing scenes for my family around the dinner table. The sound of laughter and applause fueled my passion, I was hooked and I knew my destiny. My blended family of Mom, Step Dad and six kids moved to Nogales, Arizona when I was 14. Talk about culture shock… city kid moves to the Wild, Wild West. It was an eye opening experience moving from the closed in city to the wide-open spaces of the West. The people sure were different and the move provided me with new observations to inform my acting. I performed consistently through high school, everything from musicals to Shakespeare. Upon graduation from high school, I worked as a youth leader on Senator Dennis DeConcini's first successful senate campaign, I also did summer stock in West Virginia. I then proceeded to the University of Arizona to pursue and ultimately complete my degree in Theatre. Before graduation I became involved with a small regional theatre that I helped run for several seasons, then off to California to pursue the big time. Since arriving in California I have appeared in over a hundred plays both Equity and waiver, appeared in several movies including the teen classic CAVEGIRL, been in many television episodes including the sitcoms, YOU AGAIN!, STEP BY STEP, THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW, and dramas like RESCUE 77. I continue to perform: My current work includes the web series BILL at www.serialbill.com (for those over 13) and WAITING FOR MOORE (in post production). It was, as a long time member of Los Angeles’ oldest membership theatre company, Theatre West, that I met my incredible wife Anne. We have three beautiful children: Jack 17, Charlie 14, and Seamus 10.

  • Alicia Thompson
Alicia has a Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona and has been working in creative brand management for 6 years. She credits her unique take on the world to her early passion for theatre and the arts. An Arizona native who has lived in many cities, she is back in Phoenix to bring lighthearted approach to the Wild West. She enjoys writing about a wide variety of subjects, particularly her passion for food, music and her insatiable curiosity for all things new and exciting. An eternal optimist and hopeless romantic, Alicia looks at life with a glass half full approach and embraces new adventures at each step. Her writing style can be described as conversational informed by a blind sense of optimism and frosted with idealistic hope that cupcakes and puppies really can save the world! "Those of you who know me well, will certainly be familiar with the phrase I start 50% of my lead in sentences with. '˜Oh my gosh, I'm so excited -- " Come along for the ride as I describe my obsession with lip-gloss to cupcakes, probably some cultural commentaries, and potentially some earth shattering revelations about my French bulldog's plot for world domination."

As a born and raised Vancouverite, the flavour and culture of the west coast and mountains runs deep within me. I now live in the beautiful Okanagan area of British Columbia, on a large acreage in a custom log home my husband and I built. We live off-grid, our home powered by solar and are actively engaged in a sustainable lifestyle. Outdoor sports and activities have always played a large role in my life. I hold professional certificates in the equestrian world as a coach/trainer and my students have competed and won at the provincial and national level. I have been active in the horse world for the better part of 30 years. A lifelong passion for skiing led me to earn my instructor's certification with the Canadian Ski Instructor's Alliance. Backcountry pursuits including ski touring, climbing, mountaineering, snowmobiling and hiking round out my mountain interests. On the water, sea kayaking is a favourite, with several multi-day expedition trips to the wild west coast completed. I hold a Canadian Power and Sail Squadron boating certificate and enjoy power boating during the summer with our 21' bowrider. An active gardener, organic and permaculture principles are important to me. As parents with a now empty nest, we have recently become Wwoofer hosts (World Wide Organization of Organic Farmers) to meet and enjoy the mutually beneficial assistance of Wwoofers who visit from around the world. I am not particularly good, nor interested in fashion and makeup - unless it's the latest and greatest technical gear or lip balm that defies salt water. That pretty much sums me up, thanks for reading!

Growing Up: I was born in Sacramento, California and moved to Miami when I was three years old. As a child, I read a lot of books and I was into watching the Six Million Dollar Man and reruns of Wild Wild West and Star Trek. At the movies, I devoured sci-fi as soon as it arrived at my local theater. I remember seeing Star Wars twenty-five times over the summers of '77, '78 and '79 (remember there wasn't a home video retail market then). Role-Playing Experience: I discovered role-playing games back in 1981. My friend, Alex, and I would get together after school with our D&D Players Handbook and Monster Manual and run some of the best adventures ever (Village of Homlet, Oasis of White Palm). Sure, it was little rough playing one-on-one (and I was usually the GM), but we had a great time. Writing: I begin writing when I was in 6th grade. It all started when our teacher wanted us to make up our own newspaper. From that moment I was hooked. I helped come up with the paper's name and contributed a piece of short fiction. I took a huge hiatus, before I started writing role-playing adventures and games. Now I'm hooked again.
  • Elizabeth Grieco
I'm originally from Quebec, Canada, from the city of Sherbrooke, married and went on to settle in Brooklyn, New York. We lived in Bensonhurst, New York for thirteen years then moved to the Poconos in 1990. My late husband and I raised my six children in this beautiful land but was eventually faced with the fact that this is like the Wild Wild West! Two years after building a new home, I was awakened to the environmental movement, because our planners wanted to place a chemical plant in wetlands and potentially could have polluted hundreds of ground wells. I went on to form the Pocono Environmental Coalition and Wildlife Society, Inc. 501c3 tax-exempt not for profit org. RR 5, Box 5570F, Saylorsburg, PA. for donations, to combat that intrusion in the village of Saylorsburg, PA and won after a protracted 2 year battle. Then went on to focus on trying to raise awareness about our ground water, wetlands and protection of our eco-systems. Now we are looking at the negative impacts on our ground water concerning Gas drilling, or fracking for gas as they say! I have written over one hundred letters to the editor in the Pocono Record and have a following in this area for saying things the way they should be said. After raising my six children and being exposed to other children, I realized quickly there is a heroin epidemic in our area and country that local and state officials of Pennsylvania are refusing to look at. Our banks are being robbed almost weekly by heroin addicts and yet barely anyone writes about it. I will continue to dedicate my life to helping fight for a clean environment and helping young people with addiction problems. The Afghanistan war is helping to perpetuate the distribution of this drug into our country! Education is key to help stop heroin distribution and without it we are a society of hopeless souls with no direction. Please contribute to help our cause! Send your comments to email forestgirl57@gmail.com thanks!

  • Jason R. Stafford
JR (pronounced jay-ar..non junior) Stafford, having spent a lifetime growing up in a small town in Missouri, decided to venture into the wild west and see if the world was as cruel as he had been led to believe. Selling everything and hitting the road, he landed in the outback of Arizona. Setting up camp near a loose-knit community known as Cascabel, he learned what it takes to survive, alone and without the comforts of home. After spending nearly a year camping in the desert, he decided to return to civilization upon hearing of the lack of governmental response to the Hurricane Katrina flooding disaster in New Orleans. Now living in New Orleans, he spends his time with locals and non profits, helping get the word out: "We're still rebuilding." Holding various jobs such as installing internet, managing businesses, and bar tending, has given JR an insight to the local flavors of New Orleans. Now living in the world famous Lower 9th Ward, he continues to expand his reach into a community that was ignored by the US Government, but not the world.

On my way back to WV, I made a stop in Las Vegas and remained there for 2 years. After returning home to WV, I began my career in radio advertising and this lasted 20 years. Also, in that time span, I renewed my passion for photography. Photos were published in The Lefthander magazine, with articles and Southern Lumberman, plus local newspapers and other local magazines. My reading interest centers around the Civil War era. I've produced and filmed a Civil War Documentary about the Battle of Rich Mountain, which is located a few miles from where I currently live.

In a world that moves so quickly, I come from a place where the days move slower and with more precision. The South-West corner of Colorado has been my home for 21 years, and the history and culture of this intimate place has become a part of who I am. Although I have never lived outside of a 70 mile radius from where I grew up, I have traveled to the largest metropolises and also to ancient cliff dwellings. I have climbed mountains, and watched shows on Broadway, I have lived on a ranch and three blocks from a bustling downtown. I have a deep understanding and respect for this land and her peoples, and also for those I have seen and have yet to see. My life changes as quickly as the Colorado weather and I have adapted to any obstacles blown my way. As so many things are changed and built and destroyed these days, I find solace in knowing that my small corner of the world is still (at times) as wild as it once was hundreds of years ago.

  • Reginald McCoy
I'm Reginald W. McCoy Jr. a graduate student at NMSU in Las Cruces, NM pursuing an M.S. in Industrial Engineering. I busted from my mother's womb in the year of 1984, already swinging. Being born from a mother/father duo of U.S. Army soldiers, I naturally had the nack to beat the hell out of any and everything. I grew up in the wild unruly Far West Texas town of El Paso since it was the only place that could handle me. Fast forward a few years and I'm here now residing on the banks of the mighty Rio Grande in Las Cruces, NM. However, the river resembles a creek because that's how much water I drink every god damned day! I have now taken my wild and unruly behavior into the world of acting, comedy, and writing as well. If you want to know more, then you better be an attractive female or a rich person who wants to throw money my way. Shut up!
