My job is to have fun! And, share my adventures with broadcast TV and Yahoo! Travel. The Road Show team has traveled across North America and Europe to find great travel adventures for the past 20 years, doing live telvision segments for morning shows. We've discovered so many thrilling things done by ordinary people. The Road Show takes cameras underwater as we swim with sharks. We climb inside a bobsled and race down the frozen track like an Olympian. We'll get behind the wheel of a race car, following a NASCAR pro, and reach 180 mph in seconds. I was raised on a cattle farm in a rural area of Southwest Arkansas. Being the youngest of four children with the older three much older than me, I had a very unique childhood that was filled with often hilarious adventures that involved most often my unintentionally funny mother and livestock. After high school I attended the University of Central Arkansas, where I joined a sorority, and I still currently mentor the young ladies there, though I have long since grown past the frat party days. For the last nine years I have worked at a psychiatric facility that services children and adolescents, and though it's true those who serve make the least amount of money, I love what I do and I am glad to help these kids. Within the last two years I have started working on a cookbook of my mother's recipes as well as some of her adventures in parenting, and my sister and I have a blog where we share recipes and stories. In my spare time I love to read and of course write. Being Southern I love all things that are covered in either grease or glitter, hence the reasons two of my interests are recipes and beauty pageants. Reality television is a guilty pleasure of mine, and I am rarely at a loss for words when it comes to sharing my opinions on reality stars or anything else for that matter. I sincerely hope that I can educate and entertain as many people as possible with my writings on here.
