During this period, he has covered lots of local, regional and international issues and able to meet famous and high ranking individuals, which includes: (Current UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and his predecessor Kofi Annan and many African leaders, Former US Secretary State Condoleezza Rice, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, singers such as Chaka Chacka, Beyonce. In addition, he also launched and runs an online basic journalism training website for free, New Business Ethiopia Journalism Institute (http://nbeinstitute.org/), where he and his colleagues are currently training over 100 journalism-passionate bloggers who live in different parts of Ethiopia in order to help journalism-enthusiastic individuals become citizen journalists.
