In addition, he also launched and runs an online basic journalism training website for free, New Business Ethiopia Journalism Institute (http://nbeinstitute.org/), where he and his colleagues are currently training over 100 journalism-passionate bloggers who live in different parts of Ethiopia in order to help journalism-enthusiastic individuals become citizen journalists. As an investigative journalist and a member of the Johannesburg-based Forum for African Investigative Reporters (FAIR), http://fairreporters.org contributing for both local and international media and other international publications such as: (http://www.globalintegrity.org/report/Ethiopia/2010/notebook), http://un.org/africarenewa to which he is still working.
