  • Ronald Acker
Ronald Acker was born in 1935 and raised on a small farm in New Lennox, Illinois. I attended public school my first four years of grammar school. For the fifth through the eighth grade of grammar school, I attended Wyler Military Academy in Evansville, Wisconsin. After grammar school, I attended college preparatory at Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee. I graduated in 1952, eighth in a class of 94 students. I then attended University of Illinois at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois for three years. By 1955, I had gotten married and started a family. This required my attending seven years of night school at Illinois Institute of Technology to obtain my metallurgical degree while working as a metallurgist in a grey iron foundry. As you can see, my education was directed toward mechanical and metallurgical engineering when the United States economy was manufacturing and construction. By 1965 I had become a consulting metallurgist, and owned and created the largest expanded metal plant west of the Mississippi in Chandler, Oklahoma. In 1977, foreign competition demanded my sale to a larger Eastern expanded metal producer in order to fight the competition with economy of scale. Five years latter that Eastern Company went bankrupt. By 1975 the EPA requirements dictated heavy equipment production and the associated pollution was being transferred to third world countries. My consulting metallurgical knowledge became obsolete. By 1978 I became interested in physical therapy, natural healing, and anti aging. For four years I owned and operated South Coast Fitness in Costa Mesa, California. Fifty percent of my clientele were physical therapy patients and fifty percent were cosmetic, such as sun tans and Electro Muscular Stimulation. Unfortunately seventy-five percent of our profit was generated by the cosmetic portion which came to a stand still in 1982 when Ronald Reagan increased the Federal discount rate by 16% to st

  • Maria Ragan
I started back to college at age fifty. I have three sons that are grown and out of the house, and have two grandkids and two more on the way. I guess you might say that I am experiencing the empty nest syndrome. I have many interests. I am hoping to bring awareness in this "harsh" world that we live in, that it is time to simplify our lives so that we will be able to focus on what is important. I was raised in Indiana and spent many days dreaming of bigger and better places. I have found as I am aging, we tend to crave the simplicity that we took for granted in our younger years. I ended up settling in Bend Oregon and have lived here for twenty years. I have to admit Oregon is a hard place to adjust to. It seems like all I could see was sagebrush that caught on my socks, and a bunch of rocks. It truly brought out the "pioneer spirit" that is is known for, at least here in Central Oregon. I have learned to appreciate the many months of cold weather and the mountainous terrain. It has made me strong, and I have learned to watch my step. I am hoping to find many things to do in the journey ahead. I have always loved to write, and my mom tired of the endless wads of paper that spilled out of the trash can. I still write on phone books and brown grocery bags and would write for pennies, praise, or peanuts. I guess I can say that writing has been a "correspondence counselor" within my soul for many many years. I have a Native American heritage and am concerned with the condition of our earth. I know many would play it down and believe that there isn't issues such as global warming etc... We are to be caretakers of what has been loaned to us and nothing can go on forever that is being abused. I know there are many that are doing their best, but many simply do not understand how crucial each action we take from now on will be to those we leave behind.

I am a Nature-O-Path and a passionate wellness industry researcher for the past 30-years. Passion is the truest motivator of education. As Donald Trump stated, give me one person with true passion, over 10-traditionally educated. I am the president and CEO of the Anti-Aging Clinic Assoc., Inc.. I have developed product and treatment protocol that helps improve the immune system, helps prevent disease, helps balance hormones and helps to improve and beautify skin that supports Age Younger, in a non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical manner. People often spend their health to gain wealth only to find they must then spend their wealth to regain their health. Ask yourself the question; what good is wealth without health?
