I enjoy studying anything from science to ancient history, financial trends to current political happenings. I am a grad student in Cross-Cultural Communication. I have studied music, language, history and religion through seven years of post high-school education. I love travel, and other things such as archeology and art. For employment, I have been self-employed since 2001 managing a landscaping and lawncare business. I have had quite a bit of experience in construction through my dads personal home building projects. I have also had various part-time jobs during the school year such as business office clerk and an assistant cook for my school. I am the oldest of seven kids (4 brothers, 2 sisters), and usually the most adventurous. I like to dream and turn my dreams into reality. I am a native of Minnesota, but after moving nearly a half dozen times around the state, I finally landed in Chicago while in high-school where I have been since 2000.

I'd like to call myself a "pro-gamer" since I'm a professional and a competitive gamer by heart. Although business, writing, and internet marketing are my primary professions, the subjects I am interested in are far from limited. Come to think of it, business alone should be more than enough to cover subjects from archeology to zoology. With that said, I should be more than able to give anybody on this planet a decent conversation on whatever subject is of interest to them so hit me a message anytime and I'll get back to you with something that you might have not thought or heard of.

Although I grew up as a military brat I have always considered myself a Bostonian. My life has lead me on quite a journey through many of the strange choices I have made. I tend to lean more towards the spontaneous than the ordinary, which has lead to some crazy, funny, dramatic, and interesting stories. After leaving film school I studied archeology. That naturally transitioned into a few years in the Army. During that time I lived in Europe and served in the Middle East. When i returned home I tried my hand at poker before starting a career with the City of Boston. Francis Ford Coppola once said his career is as a filmmaker but his profession is as a Vintner, which is a fancy way of saying he makes wine. I am sort of the same way. My career is as a firefighter but my profession is definitely filmmaker. After a role in a Dunkin' Donuts commercial I joined the Screen Actors Guild and have appeared in a few local films. My next step was to write and direct my own films. After having a film of mine premiere at the Boston International Film Festival i continue to work on other projects. I try to watch every film released and give even the worst of them a fair chance. I am usually the only one who is impressed when I pull out the name of an unknown cinematographer, but I find that I am a ringer at bar trivia. After meeting my wife I have acquired her taste and love for food. I traded in my reservations at the 99 and Chile's for a table for two at L'Espalier and Aquitane. I now know the advantages of shallots over onions and have discovered that my favorite food is a well braised escargot. So I continue this little adventure in my new condo in the South End of Boston, trying my wife's new recipes, and taking in a new movie. But if all else fails I will always know one thing to be true, I make a mean spaghetti sauce!

I grew up in South East Texas in a town called Beaumont, but I have always been a traveler. As a child, my family always went on vacation. Both abroad and accross the country. I went to an all boy boarding school in New Hampshire when I was in Junior High, then went to an excellent school in Austin, Texas. It was in Junior High and High School that I discovered a love for writing and drama. Then I went to Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where I majored in English and minored in Drama. Not sure what to do with my life, but knowing my love for travel, I become a TEFL certified ESL teacher and moved to Japan, where I taught English for four years. Recently I have moved to China where I teach children English at a private school here.
