Gina MillerMy biggest passion in life is the Martial Arts. I love all styles of Martial Arts, starting from Mixed Martial Arts to all different traditional styles. I practice kickboxing, and other styles, as well. Also, I like to try different health and fitness techniques. I study the Taoist religion/philosophy; which is more of a belief structure than a religion. I have read tarot cards, and runes for years now. The outdoors to me is about so many different things. It can be hiking, camping, fishing, as well as archery; which I'm starting to love. I have so many different interests that I like to talk and write about.
IRMA BACKELANTMy interest in the arts and politics began when just a wee young girl in grade school when I created my first home made Christmas cards and ran for Hall Monitor. I presently have hung in over a dozen art galleries with my digitally created abstract photo pieces, have my own web site, and take photos daily of everything and anything. When I see the world through the lens, I see it through a different eye. My political career has run the gamut from press aide to a US congressional candidate, running for office myself, writing for two wire services/forty newspapers, guest panelist for TV broadcast town hall meetings, and producing and hosting my own political commentary radio show entitled "The Voice of Freedom" to encourage and entice people to exam, and if necessary, to challenge the premise of political actions. In between enjoying my major interests, I also made my living as a surgical nurse, a pharmaceutical representative, a medical office manager, and I also started my own company brokering physician practices. My travels have taken me to twenty two countries and all but two States in the Union. I am currently learning the skills of traditional bare bow archery. Mine has been a full and exciting life with observations made, values formed, frustrations felt, friendships created, loves lost, griefs endured, joys experienced, and children reared. I have joined this site because I wish to leave my footsteps upon the sands of time by sharing some of my observations and analysis of men and power which usually connotes a political realm be it micro in the home or macro in a government setting.
