www.Babies411.com - Babies have always been a passion of mine, even at a very young age. It was not surprising to my family that I chose a career as a neonatal nurse. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for many infants and have been exposed to a multitude of parental concerns. Utilizing my knowledge, skill and expertise, I have assisted many parents in transitioning into their new roles. Through the gratification of helping these families, the vision of Babies 411 was born. I founded Babies 411 to offer assistance, share information, and offer support to parents and soon-to-be parents. We are dedicated to promoting the health, safety and well-being of babies.

I am the author of the books Larger Family Life and Twin Pregnancy Diary, a freelance writer, blogger and owner of the website Larger Family Life. I am also the mother to eleven children ranging in age from 19 years down to four month old twins. Larger Family Life was created in 2008 to offer an insight on life in a large family and to promote and encourage family life. Since then the blog has grown into a resource website for all families both large and small, for parents of children of all ages, for pregnant women and for those simply curious to know more about large families. My husband Michael and I are often approached by the media for information and opinions on parenting and family matters. We have participated in several radio and television interviews and appearances, as well as magazine and newspaper publications, participation in a television series on large families for Channel 4 as well as smaller projects. I relish the opportunity to write content covering topics including but not limited to pregnancy, parenting, babies and toddlers, children, family life, crafts, recipes, entertainment, days out and holidays and education.

I am a UK citizen currently living in Madrid Spain with my husband and two young children. I travel frequently with my two children, sometimes without my husband and am happy to share travel tips with other parents. In 2010 I set up www.babyabroad.co.uk, initially for parents to search for information about taking their babies and children to popular holiday destinations, eg where to buy baby milk and food, taking children to the doctor abroad, the car seat regulations, etc and lately expanding to include holiday reviews and travel products.
