Bea Karnes is a seasoned journalist, with extensive experience in TV and web. She has worked as a news producer for local TV stations and as a writer and producer for news web sites.

Bea Kunz left the field of educating preschool and kindergarten age children to pursue her interest and heritage in farming.

An NYU Communications graduate with a passion for all things green, I spent a few months working and learning at NoniLand, David Wolfe's Agricultural Research Center in Kauai, HI. Studying under certified raw food chefs, my interest was sparked for creating fresh and pure vegan meals. Enjoying a holistic approach to health and life, I look to alternative medicines and therapies such as herbal remedies, bodywork, aromatherapy, yoga, acupuncture, homeopathy and energy-based therapy as means for healing. I love to grow my own food, walk around barefoot, and sing along to Ella Fitzgerald.
