notn-ozAbout Me: I'm a wife, Mom, daughter, perpetual student of life, and overall writing, thought provoking, non-published, yet opinionated geek. But then, who isn't? Okay, not everybody writes, but everybody does have an opinion, don't they? Because I have been writing ever since I can remember. Just never published. I immediately was hooked on the idea of blogging. My husband always told me what a great writer I was, and has tried to encourage me to not only write, but publish my writings. I never did. Why? Who knows, but I'm writing now, and trying to publish at the same time. Writing gave me a way to be creative and communicate my most favorite things to do (meaning: I like to be crafty, and I like to talk, A LOT, and I love to share my opinion). I love to travel, and love to write about traveling. I was a military brat, and a military wife. I was raised by my Dad, back in the day, when it was not ideal to be a single Dad raising six kids. I love to cook, and experiment with cooking. I enjoy making crafts, and party planning. I do love to party, and really enjoy planning parties for other people. Always fun to spend someone else's money. I enjoy family research (genealogy) I find it fascinating where our roots come from. How can one move forward if they don't know where they have been? I enjoy and implementing into our daily lives old home remedies. Maybe not so much holistic healing, but simple things that my grandparents used, like a pinch of ginger for a belly ache. I also enjoy the great outdoors. Although from my waistline you couldn't tell, but I do enjoy hiking, bike riding, and depending on the bug population, gardening. I just feel that I have had such a diverse livelihood, and have lived in so many different places through this great country of ours (and yes, although our nation is going through some tough times now, we are still a GREAT COUNTRY, and do have a lot to proud of), but because I have been there done that, I feel I have my own opinions
