I have no professional experience what so ever when it comes to writing, though I love to write. I am currently enrolled in Davidson County Community College, working on my associates right now. I got to a late start in life from a lot of bad choices as a youth but hope to bounce back and start a career writing.

  • Patricia Cole
I'm Trish, and I am currently a full time student at UW-Milwaukee majoring in finance and (cross my fingers) journalism. I can hear the disapproval of my academic advisors now saying, "Those two majors don't belong together." I am choosing to follow my heart and live according to what I believe I should do. I got interested in writing a long time ago when I started writing songs, and recieving songwriting contracts. Although none of them prove to be legit, I have never given up on my dream to touch people's lives. Now I am here on yahoo, trying to bounce back from the let down's and negative comments towards the journalism field. I hope this experience will help me grow, and be able to help others because in the end that's what I live for. On another note, I have experience writing about relationships, sex, love and food. There is not anything that I can not write about. Every writing experience just prepares me for the next level of writing. I am excited to allow people into my inner most personal thoughts, because I tend to think outside of the box on numerous things. I like to think I have an unusual perspective on things, and that give insight into the things not visible to the naked eye. If I was asked to summarize my style of writing I'd simply say, "It's a reflection of what I am becoming."
  • Mical Que Jones
Born on the road, I was in Germany at 6 months, I am an Army Brat. I have been all over the world and traveled in places where no one can even visit anymore. Like the Emabassy in Tehran, Iran. Where we used have to get fresh drinking water to take back home with us. My Father was an American GI, proud of his accomplishments. He was a sharecroppers Son. He took us every where he could. Every where he was stationed we were. So now I feel like a 50 yr old traveling VET. I graduated in Seoul, Korea. I then continued with Military life by becoming a wife and a Mother of a Military man. Well more than one but that's another story. The thing I know most is how to live well on a sho string. I am the bounce back Queen of poor and have been everywhere from Princeton NJ, working and living. To homeless in Cali., and living in an RV in the 9th ward post Katrina. I been everywhere...well almost and that's what I intend to write about. My awesomely strange experiences have made my life extremely unusual and I will be contributing to the nomadic state of mind that exists here in the US and how to live with it and how to afford it. How it works and how it doesn't.

  • Isaac Broberg
Those who know me will say I'm always open to new opportunities, almost to a fault. I find it hard to fully focus on any one endeavor and bounce around trying to find what I want to tackle next. I grew up in the city of Minneapolis. After a couple years at the University of St. Thomas I took a break to try and find some direction which resulted in a long eight years while learning what it takes to be an entrepreneur. I have since returned to St. Thomas and completed a bachelor degree in finance. My current project includes a women's retail clothing store both brick & mortar and online for OPM Boutique while pursuing job opportunities in Finance. I also hold a part time job with Regional Elite, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Airlines, as a Gate Agent at the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport.
