alfredo almencionI was born in San Nicolas, Manila, on 23 June 1947. My father is from Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island, Cebu. My mother is from Binondo, Manila. I am a product of public schools from elementary to high school. Then I entered a private school when I took civil engineering. I completed my engineering course in six-and-a-half years because of my extra-curricular activities. Then just after graduation I worked first as science-book illustrator. After two books I joined Erectors, a large industrial construction company in the 70s. Then I joined Hydro Resources in the construction as of Pantabangan Dam in Nueva Ecija. I was assigned in the concreting of the spillway. Because of my adventurous spirit I went to Marinduque Island to work in the construction of the second expansion of Marcopper, a copper mine, with Commonwealth Pacific (a Canadian site management consultant). After completing the project I decided to try my luck overseas. Then while applying for overseas work (to Saudi Arabia) I started the Plaza of the Philippine Central Bank in Manila. In 1976, Cansult Ltd., a Canadian consultant hired me for the construction of the Storm and Sanitary Sewer of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. After three years I transferred to BBW&P GMBH, a German architectural-landscape design and consulting firm for the Riyadh Diplomatic Project. In 1987 I returned to the Philippines. My most significant accomplishment is the construction of the NAIA Control Tower Complex as the Project Manager because I completed it ahead of time. Now as a retired engineer my activities are taking care of my 7 years old grandson, coaching young kids in baseball and practicing Buddhism.
Alison LaPlanteI like to think I'm incredibly unique and I'm sure you'll never meet another person like me. I like: movies, music, family, friends, summer, Xbox, internet, texting, tattoos, piercings, Buddhism, walking, Monopoly, food, baking, knitting, laughing, hugging, cooking, Christmas, men and women. I dislike: biggots, homophobes, tomatoes, bullshit, drama, body odor, fighting, racism, sexism, whatever is hiding in the dark. I've been told that I'm supportive, hilarious, down to earth and awesome.

I plan on pursing further education and hopefully receiving a Ph.D in philosophy. Much of my life centers around sports. I enjoy wushu, soccer, dragon and lion dancing, and fencing. With whatever time I have left to spar between education and sports I spend cultivating myself through Theravada Buddhism.
Brendan RomanMy name is Brendan Roman. I'm from Long Island, New York. Richard VelliquetteDespite the fact that I'm only 26, I am somehow capable of emitting the world weary sigh that only someone far older than me should be able to produce. After somehow managing to graduate high school in the Evangelical Vatican of Colorado Springs, I went on to other extreme by attending college at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I learned-among other things-the facets of Buddhism, how to become an expert at World of Warcraft, how to play the piano well enough to not be ridiculed for it, and how to take out a college loan with no idea of how to pay it back. After five years of this I eventually got my incredibly useless bachelor degree in Vocal Performance from CU's school of music-a degree that can apparently get you roles in operas and musicals but-speaking from experience-not a job in any form or retail. As of now I'm a writer and a singer, and suffice to say I'm very good at both.
