Charles MacGregorI am currently a graduate student in English Literature at the University of Arizona, having begun my MA/PhD degree program in 2008. I am also pursuing a graduate certificate in early modern studies which allows me to take courses in various other disciplines. I finished my undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota with double majors in English Literature and History and minors in Classical Civilization and Medieval Studies. The U of AZ offers teaching assistantships to graduate students in English Literature so every semester I teach two sections of basic composition centered around either literary analysis or a combination of rhetorical analysis and research methodology. My professional interests are eclectic, spanning genres and time periods. I have been working recently in early modern drama, 20th century film, lyric poetry and the early English novel. When not in school I live with my wife and various animals in Chapel Hill, NC. I spend my free time gaming (PC, console, pencil & paper, and board games), reading, watching TV and walking our dog. I also enjoy juggling, walking, calligraphy, cooking and going to museums, amongst other things.
