  • Janelle Fila
Hi everyone! My name is Janelle, and I am working on my bachelor's in Finance. I live in Ohio with my husband and 9 year-old son. I am an entrepreneur at heart, and although I am not currently working, I am always open to life's opportunities. That's how I ended up going back to school and I love every minute of it, although I sometimes complain when it comes homework time. I am an avid reader and writer. I recently started a blog, 365booksin365days.com, where I challenged myself to read 365 books in 1 year. The blog includes reviews of the books I read, but is also about the journey of balancing so many books and my family, school, and work (hopefully soon!) With all of your spare time (when you really ought to be working but are looking for an excuse to dawdle in the internet), feel free to check me out! When not busy reading, my family spends time watching movies, playing card games, and kicking each other's butts on the Wii. We also enjoy Wednesday night get-togethers at my mom's for supper and Survivor. (Really, we look for any excuse to get together and enjoy good food!) I look forward to a great 9 weeks and hope we all have a wonderful experience! You can reach me at moneymagnet10@email.phoenix.edu

  • Kieran Gilman
I have been what most people would call a "nerd" all of my life. And you bet I'm proud of it! I've been playing video games since I was 5, and I've been following the industry and business aspect of it since I was 14. I am a Nintendo junkie, and I still play Pokemon despite being in college, and I will most likely never stop. However, I do own an Xbox 360 and am usually on top of all the new games. I also play a few card games, namely Yu-gi-oh! and Magic: the Gathering, and will write some tips on them, especially since I play on a budget, like a lot of others, and don't spend hundreds on them. Outside of my nerdy self, I do a lot of creative writing, and occasionally, poetry.

  • Gregory Rech
Greetings! My name's Gregory, but please call me Greg. I'm a native and current resident of Oakland, CA, and have lived in the Bay Area my entire life. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from UC Berkeley and am a Certified Sommelier. I've worked at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the now-defunct Nuclear Astrophysics Division, and have ran my own wine shop. Even though I'm a fan of baseball in general, my allegiance belongs to the Oakland A's, I usually attend 30-40 games of theirs a year. I'm an admitted music snob, tending to enjoy the experimental and jazz styles the most, and I've been playing the bass guitar for 15 years. For the last year I've been voluntarily unemployed; having decided to spend some time just relaxing and enjoying life.
