I am a student, a woman, a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend, a shopper, a musician, a coffee drinker, a chocolate lover, a knitter, a reader, a garage sale junkie, and a Christ follower.

Born and raised in West Virginia Mountain Mama, I'm a 20-something blogger married to a newbie college professor. I graduated from Marshall University with a B.A.in Criminal justice, although my strongest talents and interests are in communications, marketing, publishing, writing, and pretty much anything and everything else that exercises creativity. I'm a go-getter, a daydreamer, a cat lover, and a chocolate addict. I'm preparing to take my show on the road this summer when I relocate to the Albany, NY area - it should be fun to watch the appalachian queen take on the empire state!

My area of expertise is health psychology, and I have conducted research to help people make important health behavior changes, such as losing weight, ceasing tobacco use, and exercising more. I grew up near Philadelphia and live in South Jersey with my husband and our myriad houseplants. I have an unnatural obsession with covering things in chocolate.
