  • Christiana Writes
I am currently a student at Jones International University. With a BS/BA in Legal Studies from Kaplan University, I went back to my first love, business and am working on a masters in business communication. I like to surf the web and thought conducting business where I play might be a lot of fun. I have online businesses that provide a number of very useful items. All of the writing I had to do to get my degree made me know that writing can be fun and I think I'm pretty good at it. I've written some poems and prose. Poetry was something that I had shelved because nobody seemed to be interested in poems that were not about hot passion but, I wrote some for my 3 sons and my grandchildren, then I wrote for my great grandchildren so, now I might include a poem every now and again. The short story that I have on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and a few other book stores is about a topic that few will find appetizing until they read it, then I'll get asked why I didn't make it longer but, I didn't and I might not expand on it. I've moved on to another class. Maybe I'll write more between classes. In the meantime, I sell quality children's clothes on one site and great general merchandise on another. I have been interested in online sales since 2002. The sites don't consume a lot of time so, I write. I am currently taking classes at JIU. I'll graduate in 2013. I have written a short story, some poetry and started a number of other writings. I'd like to share some of them with you ... just to get your opinion..

We had three beautiful children together, Kaylee, Caidyn, and Dylan. I have worked as a vet tech assistant, pca, and in the mental health field. I love my family and my life.

Leighna left the religion at age 30. After leaving the Mennonites and their way of life, she spent many years, in what she refers to as underground, her life consisted of counseling, life skills classes, learning to live on her own outside of the Mennonite culture, things like going to see a movie were new and different for her. She has two boys 26 years of age, 20 years of age, and one daughter, age 16. Her boys are currently attending college at M.S.S.U. of Missouri, and her daughter is still in high school. Leighna likes to write personal and heart felt stories. She is loving and open to her neighbors. She spends a lot of time helping her neighbors, giving them rides, supporting them in their life journey, sharing her phone service, listening to there personal struggles, and keeping their confidences within the confines of her 4 walls. Many of Leighna's neighbors have been alcoholics. Her first instincts were to keep her distance from these people, but after one close encounter with a neighbor who insisted on her friendship, she has come to view these people with compassion, and in a new light. She wants to write about the unexpected gifts these suffering individuals have given her, and her own perspective and fresh outlook on issues of alcoholism. She welcomes any support or contact from other contributors. She is a new writer. Leighna enjoys living in an apartment complex where she is always in close contact with her neighbors.

  • Elijah Leon Frank
I am a young political activist, writer and artist. I am not a member of any political party, but I probably identify most with the Libertarian party, agreeing with about 90% of their views. I was homeschooled as a child and "dropped out" at age sixteen to take online college classes which greatly encouraged my love of writing as well as furthering my interest in activism. I currently divide most of my spare time between artistic endeavors and trying to change politics as usual. I believe that Republicans and Democrats have had their chance. I believe it's time for a new party. If we change the parties, then we change the system, and if we change the system, we can change the world.
