Sometime self-employed political operative of mediocre intelligence; hopeless romantic prone to futile gestures of resistance to the degradation of Western Civilization. A firm skeptic of the latest fads in philosophy (ie diversity and multiculturalism) and science (ie the fiction that global warming or climate change is a crisis or that anthropogenic CO2 is a pollutant). I think of myself as a liberal but not in the way that its meant today; a classical liberal, or in other words - a conservative.

Jim worked for a major HVAC Manufacturer for over 20 years, starting out in the warehouse, then was promoted to warehouse manager, then as corporate purchasing manager and finally as a district operations manager. He earned both of his post graduate degrees while working at the HVAC company. During the last 5 years with this company, he started a private weather forecasting company called Seasons Company. He then gave himself some experience in the retail industry as a retail chain store manager and is now working at growing a solar module manufacturing company he started less than a year ago. He has a strong knowledge base in (Masters) Electro-Mechanical Engineering, (Masters) Climatology and is continuing his private research on Earth's climate. He began writing articles as a way to help increase traffic to his website, however, he started to realize that he was enjoying the task of writing informative articles in areas he has interests. He is the Owner of SolarVolt Power. They are a solar module manufacturer and also sell retail & wholesale their modules and other high quality solar power system products. They manufacture the only solar module that carries a lifetime warranty.

A final year engineering student my interests lie in the broad fields of science and technology. I have been pretty active in my four years at IIT , constantly endeavoring to try new things and explore new avenues. Some of these include: Being a part of Formula Student team at Silverstone Circuit, setting up a Student-Alumni Mentoring Program, bringing India Against Corruption to campus, working at organizations like ITC and PWc, trying to understand climate change, writing a paper on GM crops etc.

Harriet has worn many hats over the course of her life. She has been a ski instructor in Western Canada, an orchard worker in Israel, and a member of her college sky diving club. Harriet has spent most of her professional career working as an economist, policy advocate and educator. Harriet worked with the Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario governments in Canada, and spent 13 years at the United Nations as a representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In the spring of 2007 Harriet was selected from thousands of individuals across the country to participate in a training program conducted by Former Vice President Al Gore and sponsored by The Climate Reality Project Harriet is one of the first 1000 individuals from around the world who have been personally trained by Mr. Gore to educate the public on climate change, and currently serves the District Manger for Climate Reality in the NYC Metro/NJ/PA/DE area. Harriet is proud to be a Climate Project Presenter and credits her work with Climate Reality for inspiring her to create and launch ClimateMama.com, Harriet's passion and adventure. Launched in late 2009, ClimateMama.com is a climate change education, advocacy and advisory organization, targeted at parents of all ages who want to learn more about climate change, what it's all about, and what they can do about it! Harriet works with colleges, school children and their parents, educators, businesses, PTA groups and houses of worships that are interested in learning more about what actions they can take to help make our world a better place. Working at a grassroots level, Harriet has successfully spearheaded a program to bring recycling into her local school district.
