Jessica GrantI'm a mother of three children, 2 whom are home-schooled. I am currently taking online classes to earn my bachelors in early childhood education. Any time I have that is not spent with family or school is spent writing whether its short stories or articles for my blog on cheap and easy dinners. I also love to bake and cook. I run my own baking company out of my home, it's not official yet, right now I mainly just do special orders for family and friends until I have my business license and more equipment to do really cool stuff!! Baking is like therapy for me, so to prevent goodies from piling up around here, I do fundraisers for charities and other non-profit organizations. I also have 3 dogs who make sure I get my daily exercise. :) That pretty much sums me up!!
Dotcoms for MomsI'm Rita Mauceri, an author and former television producer who had my own selfish reasons for creating DotcomsForMoms™ – my whirlwind life as a mother of three (twin boys followed by a little girl one year later!). As life became busier and more demanding, I found myself turning to the Internet as a daily resource. Like moms everywhere, I spend a lot of time online looking for quick answers and advice and searching for products that fit my tastes and budget. The Internet is filled with great material but also way too much junk. So how do we track it, weed out the useless, and find the gems all on a time-starved mom's schedule? A solution didn't exist, so I decided to create one. I called on my experience in entertainment and women's lifestyle to launch the ultimate online destination for moms of all ages. DotcomsForMoms™ brings together the very best sites, reviewed and rated by real moms. We started at the very top of the Internet with popular mega-sites and worked down through to obscure favorites based upon a comprehensive review system to make sure our recommended sites and content are the very best out there. DotcomsForMoms™ has seven main categories: Parenting, Home, Fashion, Gear, Life, Fun and Food. You can also browse by mom type - Budget Mom, Green Mom, Healthy Mom and Rock Mom are a few of the nearly 20 style filters you can surf. With an easy, searchable site, you'll be happily surprised at all the cool stuff we've found to share with you. Whether you're looking for teen parenting advice, great shoe sites, gardening tips, decorating ideas, or just some new tunes to chill out to, our mom mavens have compiled simple but comprehensive lists to help you find exactly what you are looking for (in minutes rather than hours!). DotcomsForMoms™ from cradle to college, we'll find it for you!
Melinda Arreaga EnfingerOnce upon a time, in the not too distant past, Melinda Enfinger was born in Alma, Arkansas, "The Spinach Capitol of the World". (I'd abbreviate Arkansas, but everyone thinks that AR is for Arizona and that's annoying.) She started her quest to fame and fortune at the ripe old age of 17 when she enlisted in the Marine Corps. Over nine years later, she decided that this career path was not exactly the fast track to the lifestyle to which she wanted to become accustomed and she moved on to her next adventure. Over the next few years she tried her hand at being a stay at home mom and moved with her family to the beautiful subtropical island of Okinawa Japan, where she lived for three years. During that time, she worked briefly as the Overseas Collection Counselor for a large credit union, she taught classes on how to do cool stuff to occupy your time, and she spent lots of time with her BFF shopping and noshing on Razzleberry soft pretzels. Fast forward to moving back to the US and Melinda once again decided that she was just not satisfied with life in the slow lane. She opened a gourmet gift basket company and planned to target the real estate industry, but quickly realized that she could make a lot more selling houses than she could make selling gift baskets, no matter how awesomely "gourmet" they were. She has been conquering the sales world ever since. Melinda was named the "Rookie of the Year" and even has her name on a plaque in an office in NC to prove it! She also has bunches of other awards for production and generally being cool, all of which are carefully stored in a three-ring binder packed in a box somewhere. In 2010, Melinda met Shawn Mahdavi and that chance encounter changed the course of history. They discovered a shared passion for growth and bringing value to others which when combined with their highly motivated, truly dedicated, and extremely enthusiastic work ethic, led to the natural next step of going into business together. Timothy LouieAll right, here's the deal, I spent 13 years of my life working in radio. My most recent gig being a production director at Premiere Radio Networks in NYC. My career highlights included Waking Up with Whoopi Goldberg, spending my mornings with Baltazar and Goumba Johnny in the Morning on KTU, and I was even a member of the Z-Morning Zoo on Z100! I'm also a columnist for a music newspaper called The Aquarian Weekly where I get to promote local unsigned bands weekly, feature cool tattoo shops monthly, and interview celebrities frequently. Pretty cool stuff! The perks are meeting celebs and going to lots of concerts, of course! My real passion is in music as I'm also the bass playing madman for a rock band called Mean Venus.
