Katherine Castillo Junco was born in November 9, 1978 in Passaic, New Jersey. She was abused as a child and suffered domestic abuse as an adult. After going through torturous events in her life; she has switched the negativity to the positive and contacted cosmetic manufacturers to be able to start her own cosmetic line. Her cosmetic line is to help abused women and children. 7% of the her profits goes to Safe Space Foundation; an organization to help abused women. She also has a non profit organization KN MENDING HEARTS-- www.kncosmetics-org.com Although, her line has been controversial in mixing latex fashions with glamour and cosmetics. I am a mother of three, Chiropractor, Professor, ameteur carpenter and owner/creator of Obsessed Minerals cosmetics. With my diverse interests you can imagine I have many thoughts to share with the general public.

I am a 30 year old at home mother with two kids. My husband is in the military, and I have a business in marketing Mary Kay products. I am also a proud Navy Veteran. After experimenting with cosmetics at the age of 13, Brand began to spiral into makeup addiction. Her husband, sons, dogs, and family make up her support system. My passion is to help others obtain optimal health. I am a marathon runner (two marathons completed, 26.2 (full) miles and 13.1 mile (half) and am currently pursuing a certificate in Holistic Health. As a marathon runner and aspiring health consultant, I understand the importance of proper nutrition and exercise. However, I have found that many people do not understand the power of nutrition and how their life can be greatly affected by deficiencies in nutrients. My goal is to empower others with knowledge about how the body works and what it needs to function at its highest level. I think people want to live their best life but don't have the tools to achieve it. It is not about dieting but is more about eating nutrient dense foods and maintaining balance. The body needs a little bit of everything (nutrient dense food, daily exercise, rest). However, not all foods are created equal. I would like to educate others on foods that are healthier choices for the body. Food to the body is like an engine is to a vehicle. Without engine oil your car is not likely to start and without the proper nutrition and fluids our bodies will not function. Nutrition and exercise are not the only factors affecting our health. Our bodies are inundated with toxic chemicals in many products that we use on a daily basis. I have read many articles which have suggested that many ingredients in cosmetics are toxic to our bodies. Toxic overload has been linked to weakening the immune system which then opens the door to many illnesses and ailments. Lorrie Pearson loves the beauty and fashion industry. She began her career as in beauty as beauty advisor for Revlon in Boston, Ma at the age of 18. This job was not only a great beginning but offered confirmation that a career in beauty and fashion was her destiny. Her career expanded to learn more lines including Ultima II and Charles of the Ritz. Inspired by fashion, Lorrie landed a part-time position as an instructor at the John Robert Powers modeling school where she taught classes in skin care and makeup. During her time at John Robert Powers, she completed additional instructor training to facilitate additional areas of the modeling and personal development programs. Later, Lorrie attended the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics to further her knowledge in the area of skin care and makeup. In 1982, Lorrie received her aesthetician's license and worked as an assistant instructor helping others realize their dreams in the beauty industry. Within her first year, Lorrie accepted the position of Head Makeup Artist Instructor and inspired her students to not only do salon makeup, but utilize their creative strengths to take makeup looks from basic to beautiful. She also worked as a freelance artist for Dior and Lanc´me to keep up with new products and techniques in the cosmetics industry. In 1984 Lorrie returned to the retail environment as a beauty advisor for Clinique, and later counters manager for Biotherm where she concentrated on building a clientele. Her success resulted in her promotion to Account Coordinator for Biotherm and later Account Coordinator for Elizabeth Arden handling more than 26 doors. Her successful artistry and management skills were quickly recognized by Visage Beaute cosmetics which lead to the position of Account Manager responsible for the accounts located in Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales and Macy's with Lorrie relocating to New York.
