Jill Woodruff Stanton has been teaching children for 14 years. She has a degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University, a Master of Arts in Education from Hamline, and a Literacy Certificate for the Teaching of Reading and Writing from Hamline. She is also a licensed reading teacher. Jill enjoys photography as a hobby, along with scrapbooking and creating photo books. Although she never became an avid fisherman growing up on a large popular Minnesota fishing lake (Leech Lake), she thoroughly enjoys watching from the shore as her son and dad head out for a tournament. Putting together short home movies using video clips and photographs is a great interest for Jill, and she has created videos for family members graduations and weddings, and even for her great grandmother's 100th birthday celebration. Of course, her main focus and interests are in her family: Husband, Jeff, and two sons teenager Ian and preschooler Rowan, and lovable pup Cleo the Goldendoodle. Jill is an avid reader and participates in a book club with friends. She is also very passionate about children's literacy and works hard in her classroom to make sure her students always have reading material at home to enjoy, whether it is checked out from her classroom library, or given to them through grants she writes to get books for them to keep. She is adamant that her own kids' home libraries are always well stocked. Jill considers herself a life long learner. Most recently, she has been learning as much as she can about speech delays and developmental delays to help her youngest son Rowan with some challenges he is facing.

I have taught sixth grade for 19 years. I enjoy teaching and learning new ways to reach my students. I enjoy creating curriclum that is engaging, interactive, and meaningful. I am always looking for news ways to get my students excited about learning. Their excitement is what drives me to do more.

Retired specialty retail store owner, buyer & manager. My first "career" was as a freelance photographer, and have always been profoundly inspired by "vision"...whether or not it's an unusual vantage point for a photograph or an appealing display in a window or the way a home is decorated. I guess the way I envision things is my creative gift. I have a myriad of interests...I love, LOVE flowers and the design of flowers, whether real or silk. I also found a great passion in mosaic art design and working with glass and collecting items for doing mosaic designs. I think that creating beauty is invigorating and I love to inspire others with the "beauty" I create. Perhaps beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but when colors blend or complement well and design connection has an allure of invitation to look more deeply, beauty is being created.

I am a firm firm firm firm and firm believer in the fact that human potential is infinite. It is universally far underutilized. Parents are crucial factors in creating a giant out of the tiny babies of the today. focussed efforts deliver the results of a very high order. children bloom to be "the" the masterpieces they were born to be.( the other side of the very common story i do not need to talk about sadly all of us know it and somehow are forced to believe it)i am in for a change
