Born and raised in NYC until age 10 and moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I studied at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (dentistry) hoping to become a dentist. By age 24, I dropped out and moved to Spain for a few months to pursue my dream of being an artist. Somehow I ended up back in my native NYC in the insurance business and loved it! I am an excess & surplus lines commercial underwriter at a wholesale brokerage for one of the largest brokerages in the U.S., dealing with hundreds of retail agencies throught the tri-state area. It's interesting to be a young, latino woman in a predominantly older white male industry. I love a challenge, and believe me ...this has been a tough one! I currently hold the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist designation and I am an Accrediated Advisor in Insurance. I am also one of the most creative, brightest and toughest underwriters in the northeast (as some of my retail agents would say). One of the most important values in my business beyond product and premium is definitely building relationships with clients.

Dr. Baxley fueled his interest in dentistry beginning at age 14, working as a dental assistant with a prosthodontist and an oral surgeon in Florida. After high school, Dr. Baxley received his under-graduate degree in Biology at Baylor University in 1982. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and received his DDS degree in 1986. Since then, Dr. Baxley has maintained a practice in Austin from 1987-1993 and a practice in Arlington from 1993 to the present. Although he performs most all general dentistry procedures, his main interest includes placement and restoration of Dental Implants with emphasis on the totally edentulous patient. Dr. Baxley is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Fort Worth District Dental Society, American Society of Forensic Odontology and is past president of the Arlington Dental Study Club. Dr. Baxley was also on the Board of Directors for Dental Health / Arlington from 1997-1999. He held a position on the Peer Review Committee, Judicial Committee, and the Board of Directors of the Fort Worth District Dental Society and served as a Delegate to the TDA Annual Session in May 2001 through 2010. He is the Past-Chairman for the Council on Ethics and Judicial Affairs for the Texas Dental Association and currently serves as Past-President for the Ft. Worth District Dental Society. Dr. Baxley has successfully treated over 15,000 patients during the past decade.
