Daniel RiosDaniel is a Professional Baker and avid food lover now living with his wife in the Astoria area of New York. Its a great place for what he loves to do. Having been in the culinary field since 2003, he has worked in small business bakeries, an in house hotel bakery catering to 2000+ rooms, and as a chocolatier for an award winning Pastry Chef. Though the journey is never over, he has met numerous people and experienced a vast amount of things in his professional career. Sharing acquired knowledge about all things bread as well as constantly trying new cuisine and experiencing interesting places has always been his personal joy. From high-end restaurants to the diners to food vendors on the streets, he loves to try it all. Daniel is not one for menus with more adjectives than ingredients. "Keep it simple and let the food (and the people) do the talking," has been his belief. Outside of the food realm, he enjoy video games as a release. Mostly Xbox 360 (LickitySplit001), Wii, and various computer games. For him, finding good indie games and niche downloadable titles can yield some interesting and many times, unique experiences, not able to be created by larger name companies.

I am well-read, intelligent, and have a pretty decent sense of humor. That sense of humor is what gets me through the hard times in life. Without it, I wouldn't be here today.
