'œOf course!' is the reply of most people but how many people can achieve it? You might be telling yourself that all these millionaires are either born with a silver spoon in their month with wealthy parents or just that they are very lucky to be successful. 'œHow lucky they are? How I wish I have what they I have?' I can tell you here, 'œYou are wrong!' How do you define luck? For me, I will define luck as 'œLUCK = OPPORTUNITY + ACTION'. So I will always bear this in mind and getting prepared for the opportunity and take massive action when it arises. This will be the mindset of the millionaire. For me, I might not be a millionaire now, but working progressively towards this goal. 'œDream big and take baby steps' is my strategy. My ultimate goal is to achieve personal growth and financial growth. With this strong desire in mind, I am taking action every day to empower myself to change my mindset from a victim to winner one. I am a woman from a small town in Southern New Brunswick. Throughout my adolescence I was consistently told that I should do certain things and be a certain person. I was complacent and lived my life the way others wished me to. I got the best marks and hung around with the "right" crew, I even tried to keep the "right" weight for my size. The problem with following what everyone else wanted for me, I finished university with no passion and no motivation to do anything. I literally had nothing that I cared about. By standing on the shoulders of giants I have learned many ways to regain motivation, passion and purpose in your life. My main passion in life is to be an Empowerment Specialist for women who have lost their purpose just like I did. I grew up in northern California. My family may have been the most dysfunctional family that ever was, not that I want to enter any competitions at this point. In my thirty-some years I have experienced immense personal tragedy, abuse, death of people close to me, and destitution. I have battled depression, alcohol abuse, weight problems, debilitating anxiety and medical issues. I have struggled with love, self esteem, and feelings of worthlessness. In short, I'm a survivor. Now as a writer, a respiratory therapist, and a woman, I want to give back some of the knowledge that I've gained from life's tough lessons, and help other women cope with the stresses that we face in life. Not everyone experiences the same stressors, but we all experience them and some of us get hit harder than others.
